Re: Nasal Mask Recommendations?
Thank you! I picked up my new machine on Thursday and love it. It is so much quieter. And I got the Airfit Nasal for Her initially but it was too small. I went back and get the Airfit N10 and used it last night. All went well! It sure feels great to sleep well again at night.

Nasal Mask Recommendations?
I have been using the Mirage™ FX For Her Nasal CPAP Mask with Headgear for several years now. I like it, or at least nasal masks, preferably over full face or nasal pillows. However, I am finding it to leak quite a bit and therefore be noisy. Tomorrow, I am off to get a new machine, the Airsense 10,...

Cat bites mask/hose and turns off machine
Good afternoon, I am hoping folks may be able to help me. For a bit of time, one of our 3 cats feels he needs to wake me up at night. He does this by trying to bite my mask and/or hose. He also has learned to turn off my machine by stepping on the on/off button. My hose does have a cover on it, so I...

Re: Web service for viewing Respironics data
Thanks Cpapdork. I went ahead and tried your website and was able to get the data to come up on the website. I am however still a little confused on what I am looking at. I understand the x axis represents the time, however unsure what the y axis should represent because the number range is between ...

Re: Tips for flying with CPAP?
Thanks everyone for your tips and ideas. I just returned from my trip - a short one to Vegas - and the following is report on taking it on the plane and hotel. After reading many tips on traveling, I decided to pack the machine, hose, and mask in the bag given to me but to get a backpack. I ended up...

Tips for flying with CPAP?
On Monday I am flying with my machine for the first time. I understand I can take it on the plane with me. But am I correct in understanding that I need to put bottles of the distilled water in my check in bag and not put them in my bags that I bring through security? Will I have to remove the machi...

I did it again...
Last night, for the second or third time in 4 months, I removed my mask and placed it on top of my machine in the middle of the night. And I do not remember doing it! And I come to wake up and see it there. Has anyone else done this? I wonder why we do this. Other than that my CPAP therapy is going ...

I also agree with you. I had trouble with sores on my forehead, ordered her product, and it have not had any problems since then. I am also having problems with my nose bridge and just ordered it and look forward to getting it and using it. Thank you Karen!!

Re: Anyone get less sleep after starting CPAP?
I too am finding that I am sleeping less. But that the sleep is of much better quality than before. On Monday I met with my doctor for my first follow up appt. after starting CPAP and he confirmed what I thought. Because we are getting better quality sleep, we are sleeping less. I too am finding tha...

Red Marks/Welts on Forehead
I am using the Mirage Softgel Mask with the head rest. I've used it for the last couple of weeks and really like it because it is comfortable and I get the best numbers. AHI is below 0.5. Anyway in the last few days, I noticed I have two noticeable red marks/welts on my forehead from where the head ...

I am so happy to be a hosehead!
Just want to say that I am glad to be a hosehead! I've been on it for about two months now and been almost 100% compliant. A couple times in the last week, I either unknowingly removed my mask or fell asleep on the couch. Then the next day I felt so crappy and sleepy. On the days I slept all night w...

Tips for Drs. Appt. Sought
Hi All, I've been on the CPAP machine for about month and a half. So far so good. On Thursday I am going to see my Dr. for the first time since starting therapy. I plan to bring him a copy of my data - both the one from the DME and my own from Encore Pro 2.2. I plan to go over the reports with him a...
