running older Remstar Auto on battery

This past weekend I tried using a fully charged Lithium Ion battery from BatteryGeeks and then one of the automotive starting devices to run my machine (no humidifier) while camping. The nighttime temperature was in the low 40's. The machine ran for about 5 minutes before it starting beeping and the...

Re: How many hours does your machine have?

My machine has over 12,000 hours on it and still going strong.

Re: Hans Rudolph mask, Interested in a test drive?

I have had the V1 and V2 version of this mask (over 5 years on both) and absolutely love it. My AHI has been consistently under 1.5.

My previous mask was the Ultra Mirage FFM and it was literally a pain wearing it.

You might also want to check out the Hans Rudolph V7600 V2 for a comfortable mask. Most nights I hardly noticed that it's there. I used the V1 for over 2 years and the V2 for about 4 months and my AHI is consistently under 2 with minimal leaks. The initial cost may scare people off but there are no ...

I would go with the large using your measurement of 5 to 5 1/4.

Also make sure that the headgear is the gray foam version and not the mesh cap.

I have been using this mask for over 18 months now and I love it. I tend to move a lot and I find that the leakage has been minimal over the given leak rate from the manufacturer.

Another FFM to try

I have been using the Hans Rudolph V7600 for about 18 months and I love it. I tried for a year using the UMFF and I got tired of the leaks and the bridge of my nose getting chewed up. Some people have complained about the initial cost of the mask but I feel that it is well worth the price in the qua...

There are measuring calipers available to assist in getting the correct size.

My measurement from the top of my nose to my chin is a little over 5 inches which was a large size.

I also sleep on my side and I have been using the Hans Rudolph V7600 for over a year now. I prefer it over the UMFF because it does not have a rigid frame. Also you might want to consider the PapPillow.

I have been using the HR 7600 for about a year now and I love it. I was using the UMFF but got tired of getting the bridge of my nose chewed up and the horrible leaks. Yes the initial cost of the mask may seem high but when you factor in the replacement cost of the seal it was well worth it (I was r...

I for one love this mask and have been using it for almost a year. For me the leaks are usually just above the leak rate specified by the manufacturer. I used the UMFF for about 3 months and got tired of the leaks and my nose getting chewed up

Smart Card does not record properly

In the last 4 days the smart card on my Remstar Auto has only recorded between 2 and 11 minutes.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so, how did you resolve the problem?

Thanks,

Rob

I could never get a good fit with the mesh cap. If possible I'd get the V Foam instead.
