Re: Resmed Events vs AHI

That was the problem. I had it set to daily reporting cycles, then I unplugged the unit when cleaning it. So it re-set to a 30 day number. Sure confused me. Thanks.

Re: Resmed Events vs AHI

Sorry to introduce some confusion with my typo. The machine in an Airsense 10 Auto Yes I understand the AHI is an average, but wouldn't the Events per hour, of which AHI is an included event be an average as well? That is why I dont see how the Events per hour can be less than the AHI. Should be gre...

Resmed Events vs AHI

My ResMed S10 Auto is displaying 1.0 Events with a 1.8 AHI. That would seem impossible since the AHI is included in the event count and they are both calculated as an hourly number. Am I missing something?

Re: AHI Target

Greetings to palerider. Pugsy and Miss Emerita ! I just want to say thankyou for your collective input to my machine settings. My AHI's are in the 1 to 2 range now. If my headgear fit better I think I could raise the pressure a bit more but it seems to be a bit of a "Catch 22". Season's greetings to...

Re: AHI Target

Pressure unchanged for 3 days @ 15 / 18 and the EPR setting adjusted and at 2. A big reduction to the number of events, especially Hypopnea. I don't know what to think about the Oscar AHI numbers being 0.90 and 0.91 for the two sessions. The machine is reporting AHI of 5.9 for this night. How can th...

Re: AHI Target

Interesting to note I had Ramp off and EPR to Ramp Only. So I am assuming there was no EPR previously as those two kind of cancel each other.
Now adjusted to Ramp off and EPR of 2 to Full Time.

Re: AHI Target

Two days at 15/20. Some side effects of increased mask leak, dry mouth and water tub empty in the morning. As well, concern into AHI numbers. Oscar says Resmed data does not include sessions yet I get sessions. Most recent data has AHI of 5.47 and 4.7 in the two sessions for the night. Machine is re...

Re: AHI Target

Mask leaks likely caused by headgear straps slipping up/off.
I do not think my last pressure change was done correctly. Indicates 14/20. Just revised it to 15/20

Change your minimum pressure from 11 to 14, and max to 20.
Here is last nights daily data. Consistent since the change on Sunday but not where I need to be.
