I just upgraded my computer, and I'd like the latest version of ResScan, please. I have an S9, and my new computer system is Windows 7. Thanks very much.

Re: Syetem One Auto versus Resmed S8 or S9 Auto
Thanks for the input, people. I think I will give the S9 Autoset a try, if I can manage to get my insurance company to go for the exchange, at this point. I have had the System One for ten months, though, and I suspect it is going to be tough. The Respironics rep seemed prepared to throw something i...

Syetem One Auto versus Resmed S8 or S9 Auto
I haven't been here for a while; been traveling a lot. I use a Respironics System One Auto, and I like it except for one "feature". In order to distinguish between an obstructive apnea and a "clear airway" apnea, the machine puts out what they call a "pressure pulse" (I call it a "puff of air") afte...

Re: CPAP tubing, other ways to use it
I have been using my two since I got my first machine in 1997. I use two because the bed is high, the machine is on the floor, and I like to route the hose up over the headboard. I have several others that came with the two new machines I have gotten since 1997, but I have never used them.

Re: Will I have to shave my beard?
I have used nasal pillows, a nasal mask, and a Quattro full face mask with my beard, and all have worked fine. By all means, give it a try.

Re: Encore Pro 2
I had a very similar problem installing Encore Pro 2.2 to my two Windows XP machines. The installation kept failing with the error message about not being able to find the database, on boht machines. I finally overcame the problem by completely uninstalling my anti-virus program, which was Zone Alar...

Re: PR System One SD card - Encore 2.2 says NO DATA
Barry I received that NO DATA message at around 5 PM (my time, PST). The time in my Encore Pro is also set to PST. In this case probably the time in my PR System One (which under the newer firmware 1.20 - is GMT 1 AM and cannot be adjusted) is the one that override the other time setting. That's in...

Re: PR System One SD card - Encore 2.2 says NO DATA
cpapernewbie, I think that the machine only writes the data to the card after noon. That is why you have to wait until afternoon to download it each day. When you try to download it before it writes the new data for the previous night, you get the mesage "NO DATA", which really should be "NO NEW DAT...

Re: help with install encore pro 2
I had no problem installing EP 2.2 on my 32 bit machine in the Vista partition (dual boot machine, choose XP or Vista at boot). I had a lot of problems installing it into the XP partition, on the other hand. I finally uninstalled Zone Alarm Internet Security (anti-virus and firewall program), and th...

Re: PR system One auto - first impression
Barry I have look high and low in the CPAP menu and the GMT is nowhere. After reading yr post, I also recheck Encore Pro 2.2 and look carefully at the PRESCRIPTION menu. No GMT... the only GMT I can find is in the Glossary Greenwich Mean Time (time zone) To set the time zone in the Encore Pro 2.2 s...

Re: PR system One auto - first impression
Pixelyzed I have gone through the settings of preesure range, humidifier seetinsg etc after pressing the 2 buttons. Otherwise I will not be able to use this auto CPAP properly. FYI I am able to set all my CPAPs (2 M series and this new one). However as I mentioned, the menu for GMT offset is simply...

Re: Encore Pro 2 software
You can only use a specific card reader... a DT3500 in particular with Respironics smart cards. Sorry, that may have been true at an earlier time, but I can read my Smart Card for my System One Respironics Auto with a cheap card read made by some company called SD/MS. I am sure that almost any card...

Re: Quick question about pressure pulse in Encore reports
What pressure pulse means on the wave reports in the encore 2.2 software? Here is my understanding of it: When the air flow stops for several seconds, the machine puts out a brief puff of air (pressure pulse) to determine if the airway is open or not. If the machine decides the airway is open, and ...

Re: Encore Pro 2.2, why is my Therapy Recalculation Status N/A?
Mine is the same. I interpret N/A as Not Applicable, and it isn't applicable in my case because I have not changed time zones and have had no need to run the Recalculation Service. Just my opinon.
