Sorry for the confusion, of course you can walk into Target, but for those that wish to avoid physical contact there is the option to have it loaded into your trunk
I rarely need to clean our tanks but prefer using food grade citrus acid, the same as I would for descaling a coffee brewer.

Re: Semi-permanently disabling modem in ResMed Airsense 10
In my original post I wrote I highly doubted Resmed was sharing any information with DME for sales purposes. Sorry if that was miss understood.

Re: Semi-permanently disabling modem in ResMed Airsense 10
Privacy is a personal preference, some prefer more than others, but some mock and ridicule anyone that even suggests they have different preferences. For some, it's not about evil big brother types it's more of a personal preference. Most people do not mind signing that agreement to have their new c...

Re: Semi-permanently disabling modem in ResMed Airsense 10
Interesting thread, several years ago I contacted RESMED to have my MyAir account deleted and no further information collected, I received an email telling me my account was removed. Recently I bought a new Resmed Autoset 10 and going through the menus it listed a modem with AT&T, my previous Resmed...

Re: New Mask Advice (with lots of details)
I do have facial hair (full goatee). I am sure there are others that are more knowledgeable, but can say that I have been using cpap for about 18 years and my original pressure was about 15cm, and some periods over that time up to 18 cm. Currently I have my auto set at 10 -16 cm. with no ramp. As I ...

Re: Sleepyhead says "Summary only"
Sorry I did not better explain, with my wife's machine, it just stops writing to the sd card, although unplugging it for a few seconds before plugging it back in seems to get it writing to the sd card again, data that was lost does not come back - it does start recording at that point, so we do not ...

Re: Sleepyhead says "Summary only"
My wife's Airsense10 "Autoset for Her" some times does not get all the information, so far unplugging the machine and plugging it back in fixes it. It only happened a couple times in the past year. The first time we thought she did not put the card in correctly but now believe it is her machine.

Re: SleepyHead on Ubuntu 16.04
There is a version in the Ubuntu repositories, 0.9.8-3 sudo apt-get install sleepyhead should install it. I tried it on three different 16.04 systems, two with Ubuntu Mate and one with Kubuntu . All seemed to work OK. Sleepyhead started hanging using the inport data icon on the opening screen,. I th...

Solved - thanks
Thanks again to all, I downloaded the latest Rescan and it is pretty nice. For personal use, I prefer using the linux version of SleepyHead than running Rescan in a virtual windows machine.
Once again, thanks to all

Re: Doc does't have card reader
If you are not having a problem with your sleeping, your machine or mask and your AHI is reasonable...why does your doctor need to see your data? What they normally look at is only compliance, and that's only so the insce. co. will keep paying for the machine. It's not insurance, as I wrote previou...

Re: Doc does't have card reader
Thanks for the replies, I will check into the rescan software. Will the doctors want/use printed material ? I thought they would want to be able to zoom it etc. Perhaps they need to go through a DME to know the card is from the patient's machine. The primary physician I now have has no knowledge of ...

Doc does't have card reader -solved
I am seeing a neurologist this week as a new patient , the nurse said they do not have a card reader. She said I should have my DME download the information, but I get all my sleep apnea supplies at cpap.com As recommended by the nurse, I called a local DME and they more or less laughed at me for ev...

Re: Sinus Trouble
I had chronic sinusitis for many years before cpap, but after using cpap a couple months my sinuses improved. I need to keep my humidity set pretty high. If I do not use the humidity or have it set too low the next day or two it will seem like I have a cold. If I run more than one night without enou...

Re: CPAP Machine into Surgery?
One of the worst times of my life was an aborted surgery for colon cancer. I warned everyone ahead of time about my sleep apnea and had my cpap machine along. However, the anesthesiologist they assigned to me did not take my condition seriously and after they were unable to intubate me they allowed ...
