Ask for this tests. * TSH But this lab is only for diagnosis of hypopituitary, NOT to diagnose or dose your hypo by. * Free T4 and Free T3 (note the word “free”–important.) * Thyroid Antibodies (anti-TPO and TgAb. YOU NEED BOTH.) * Ferritin (and do stress FERRITIN,...

Re: O/T 70 pounds down in 6 months while on the mask

Yes, CPAP has a correlation with energy levels, If you are not sleepy then you could do more activities. In my case the energy levels are more in sync with my thyroid function. I have hypothyroid so it does not matter if I have great night sleep nights but I have problem with my medication, I feel b...

Re: Poll: Remembering Dreams

I missed my dreams.

Before treatment, I mostly remembered my dreams, and they were really good ones. I could have written some books or movies about them.

After treatment, I had remember a few, but now I don't remember any. I really missed them, they were really good.

Re: adrenal fatigue better with Cpap?

Sleep apnea for me has been benign all the time. My biggest problem has been hypothyroid. I knew I had sleep apnea but never had it under control. Last year went to test believing that got worse, no the problem was hypo medicine was not working. When my hypo is under control, most of the symptoms ar...

Re: Effects on blood pressure?

I have been fat all my life but I have never had problems with blood pressure, triglycerides, bad cholesterol, etc. My blood pressure has been pretty stable to 130/85. I began CPAP on 12/2009 and I went to the doctor in 1/2010 and last month and my pressure has been in average 112/75 ~ 118/80. For m...

After starting VM fusion and windows there is menu at the top. Click on Virtual Machine menu option. A new menu will show. You see almost at the bottom "USB" click on it and a new menu will show. See if the option "Apple Bluetooth USB Host controller" says Connect or Disconnect. If you see Connect c...

Re: OT Finally a job even if only for 3 wks!

Thanks John! It's been a challenge...I've already forgotten half if not more of what she said the project was about but that's just nerves. I can plead new industry for not knowing many of the terms, but I gotta come up to speed soon that's for sure. I'm been concerned that I lost too many cells in...

Re: machine shut itself off

That happen to me a few weeks back. I was using a surge protector and one of the outlets had a problem. The prongs from the machine wire were not making full contact and it was in a loop of off and on. It could be that, it just simple to fix, see if the prongs get to easy or try a different power ou...

If your humidifier is on... try messing with the settings on it. If it's not on, turn it on. If it's on high, turn it down. If it's on low, turn it up... etc.
Amen to that.

My daughter is now 21 and I am just her mother. Mothers know nothing except how to make you costumes, corsets, and prom dresses. I hear you My son has Hashimoto's and he is not taking the medication and he is only 18. I sat with him one day and explained him all the problems and possible medication...

Re: humidity causing mask irritation?

NO, You can use them more than one night. I have been using them for at least 4-5 days each one. So one package is for 4-5 month supply. The suggestion to use one per night is a sales gimmick to make you buy more often. The material is like a cotton T-shirt, really smooth, you may even buy a T-shirt...

I am sorry, Do you mean the un-comfortgel full face? Yes, it was a leaking machine and not comfortable at all. One that is very popular here is the Quattro and Ultra Mirage Full Face. I triedl the Ultra Mirage and I couldn't stop the leaks. I tried also the Liberty (it is a hybrid, with pillow for t...

Re: Cyber Attack

There are no virus for mac or Unix or linux. There are trojans. Trojans is a software that hide inside of a legitimate software so when you download the software and install it, then attack your computer. The difference is you have to enter the administrator password and that is how the gain access ...
