ResMed does offer a plug for the Airsense 10 that allows the humidifier to be removed. They are not free however unless you can find a vendor that would include one in the package.donzi wrote:It's nice to able to leave the humidifier off when not needed, to have a smaller package for travel/camping

Re: Resmed S9 vs. Airsense 10
The need for a new 12V adapter (Why would they make the connectors different??? ) and loss of the smaller footprint when I don't use the humidifier for camping, travel and all summer versus the possibility for a future software update doesn't seem like a very good trade. And, I can keep my stash of...

Re: Airsense 10 DC to DC Converter #37297
I just called ResMed directly. They said 2-3 weeks (or at least hopefully). Today is November 21, 2014. As recommended by ResMed I picked up a 150 watt (175 watt peak) inverter at Coscto for I think about $25 that works fine. It doesn't need to be pure sine wave. I used it for a week camping withou...

Re: 12VDC to 24VDC converter or a 12VDC to 120VAC inverter
ResMed still hasn't released the DC to DC converter for the Airsense 10 and I need to find a power source from my 12V battery supply in my travel trailer to power it. I sent ResMed an email asking about using a modified sine wave inverter but haven't heard anything back yet. I don't use the humidif...

Airsense 10 DC to DC Converter #37297
So far I haven't been able to locate a DC to DC converter for my Airsense 10, has anyone heard when they will be available? All the internet sites say 'coming soon'. I have the converter foy my S8 for use while camping. I could use the S8 but would prefer to use the AS10. The Resmed part number is s...

Re: Pugsy's Pointers...SleepyHead Tutorial and TX Hints
Just hoping Sleepyhead for the AS10 will be ready soon. My S9 Autoset failed to write data to the card, so I have set the gears in motion to get my AS10 Autoset for Her. It's already working in the code, I just need more data to get it working swell Edit: "working", as in, importing and showing the...

Re: AirSense AutoSet Noise
I have used mine now for three nights and haven't noticed any out of the normal noises. I have the humidifier turned off. In fact its much quieter than my S8 was, all I can hear is myself breathing, not any noise from the machine.

Re: New APAP Shopping
I just got the Airsense 10 Autoset on Thursday and so far so good, its not the 'For Her' version however. I am coming from an S8 so big difference in style. First night AHI was 0.2 and last night it was 0.0 , I had never seen a 0.0 with my S8. I am also using the latest version of Rescan, I had been...

Re: Newbie would like to hear success stories, please.
I was first diagnosed with OSA in 2004. At that time the machines and masks were nothing like they are today...I was never able to get used to all the gear and the noise. So for the next 5 years I ignored the diagnosis. In December of 2009 I had another sleep study and my condition was severe with a...

Re: Sore and Red Bridge of nose
This might help you http://www.padacheek.com/PAC_Nosebridge.html Hi: I am new at using a mask. I am currently using the ResMed Mirage Quattro Full Face Mask. The bridge of my nose continues to be sore and very red each morning after I take the mask off. The redness stays throughout the day but turns...

Re: OSA because of weight gain
Many people gain a lot of weight BECAUSE they have un detected OSA. OSA can be the culprit behind a lot of other symptoms. Just accept the fact that there is a non-invasive way to stay alive that does not include surgery or dangerous drugs . Weight gain due to OSA... http://www.sciencedaily.com/rel...

Re: which ff mask??
F&P Forma works for me. I also have a Quattro, ComfortGel & Fulllife but have hardly used them. I keep going back to the Forma as it works best for me. My DME hands them out like candy at a parade. I also have a couple of others but don't remember what they are.

Used it in the beginning but now have it shut down to 'off' and use it only in 'passover' mode, works for me just fine w/o the heat.

Re: OSA because of weight gain
My sleep doctor told me that loosing even 5-10% of my weight would help but not cure my OSA. I joined a gym and started an exercise program 4 months ago and have lost 55 lbs (20%) and my data shows definite changes in pressure requirements. First 70 days of therapy: Median pressure = 14 95th percent...
