AHI the same at different pressures need advise
Hi everybody (hello Pugsy), it has been years I haven't come here. I'm trying to help a friend to return to use CPAP. She was given a CPAP years ago because she snore and "supposely" she didn't have sleep apnea. It had been a year she wasn't using her machine because she complained the cpap made her...

Re: Now Hating the Airfit F20
Hi Grouch, I tried different FF masks and the only one I was able to use without leaks was the Ultra Mirage. Seen the F20 I wonder how somebody can be able to use it without leaks. I heated the indentations on the sides of the face made by the straps and the marks around the face made by the cushion...

Re: my cpap gives me horrible pain
I started clenching the teeth out of the bleu (years ago and still do), it produced very bad teeth pain. At that time I had an APAP which changed pressure on an abrupt way. I changed machine's brand for one more slow to make the switch in pressure and it helped for a time but I started again. I did ...

Re: Compare a Resmed Autoset S9 vs S10
LSAT, I will call them on Monday when I'll be off and check for the options they can offer to me. Once they told me I didn't need a dr's prescription, that will be nice because mine is several years old. To get a prescription it will take months, it's not fast to get an appointment with the speciali...

Re: Has anyone here lost weight and improved apnea?
I did. When I was at almost normal BMI my AHI was 5.2 as per two sleep tests. But that was too high for me to feel good. My AHI at diagnostic time was 31 but I gained weight and I think it was way worst because at that time I was really doing bad with the apnea symptoms. I gained back 20 pounds and ...

Re: Compare a Resmed Autoset S9 vs S10
Thanks for the answers. I think I will go for a S9 autoset. What I need to decide now is if I buy a gently used (I still have my humidifier and heated hose from the sick machine ), an open box or a new. I'm scare about the gently used because what happened to mine with only 10,000 hours are they abl...

Compare a Resmed Autoset S9 vs S10
Hi Guys, Here me again with a complicated question Could somebody tell me if there is a big difference between a S9 and a S10 both autoset, on the way how do you feel them when delivering pressure? I mean when you use them do you feel a difference? For good or for bad, I feel everything , I'm thinki...

sleepyhead data corruption
Hi computer masters I need your advise. I had an old Sleepyhead version (I don't remember which one). I'm on Win 10, I decided to upgrade to V1.00Beta2. since then I have problems to see properly the data information on the overview graphs, most of the times there is no Y axe information or graphs n...

Re: Tooth pain and sinuses sensitivity
Hi guys, I don't remember if I told what was the problem causing the tooth pain, I know what it was. Sorry if I repeat myself but I don't have time to go read everything and see what I said or not. Here the history. I saw a dentist, I get Rx of the tooth, nothing she could find but the pain was stil...

Re: No dreams recall
In my dreams I was falling in the water very often, fyi I can't swim. I think the theory of sleeping more restfully from of_the_west makes sense to me. Most of the time I don't even wake up until the morning. Lately I have been waking up (I think because of my back) and it is when I notice I had a d...
