tape rash
I do better with nasal pillows or nasal mask, but HAVE to tape mouth shut. I have tried every tape available as well as Tegederm. My problem is the "tape rash". I am very careful to never "pull" tape, but use water to remove so doesn't pull on skin. Still I have "not a rash like allergic to tape" bu...

Last night was night 17 and I FINALLY have slept for the past 2 nights. Have gotten so much more exhausted than I was before CPAP, I was wishing I never started it. If it weren't for Rested Gal helping me individually with pressure settings, etc., I don't think I'd have gotten through the past 2 wee...

mouth seal
Thank you for the great idea folks. With Tegaderm, I work my tongue all around lips (in am when time to remove) then keep working with tongue until I have most of Tegederm loose - I just got crazy several ams ago and "gently" pulled small bit of Tegederm off - left nasty line of "tape rash" which ev...

mouth seal with nasal pillows
Any great ideas on how to keep mouth sealed after tape and Tegaderm have left skin too tender - and I NEVER pull tape or Tegaderm off - use water or tongue or Rosehip Seed Oil

magnets
Rooster - I wasn't making fun of your magnet idea and they really do help for pain - much research behind them. I just wasn't thinking of them in terms of opposites on each side of airway. Right now tonight, just short of 2 weeks into treatment, I feel like crap, my face is all goobered up from figh...

humidifier
I have Remstar Auto with CFlex and integrated humidifier. Is there a way to adjust my humidifier - the only button I am familiar with is the humidifier on button.

sinus pain
RhinNC - Last night was night 7 on APAP and I am EXHAUSTED. Maybe tireder than before APAP - BUT the two nights I have slept well, I really could see a difference and know it will make a difference so I, like you, will stick this thing out for the long haul.......... I have a Mirage full face mask a...

magnets for OSA
I have studied magnets extensively and used them for back and neck pain following broken vertebrae in both. I also use a large ceramic one on the negative side to hold against my temple if I get a headache that is not flu related. Magnets definitely have their place as a natural healing therapy, but...

AAP pressure
I see you already have the smart card reader and surely the software - sorry I didn't look at picts at bottom of post. You also have the same machine I have which has CFlex feature also. I've not got my own pressures, etc. figured out yet (today is day #7 for me) but I can help you reset pressures o...

apap 4-20
My APAP Rx was for 4-20 and that seemed reasonable, particularly since I had no sleep study. BUT when I first tried the mask, I would have SERIOUS blowouts all through the night. Rested Gal and I tossed this back and forth and she allowed me to realize that, while 4 was a comforatable setting for me...

looking for used pulse/ox
Help - I am currently on oxygen 5L hooked into APAP, which I started a week ago this Tuesday. Dr. is hoping APAP may delete need for 02 eventually, but all I can do is use my Nonin pulse ox to set concentrator at bedtime after mask on and then check it again when I first take the mask off in am. Rat...
