Re: SmartStart Feature autostop not working

Thank you all for your responses! For those of you that noted that I will up the creek with no machine if it has to go in for repair, you are right. I cannot sleep without it and I am mystified as to how I did for years before I got the machine! I've been thinking I need a backup machine, so maybe t...

SmartStart Feature autostop not working

Hi All, So I have had my Airsense Autoset 10 For Her for almost a year now. The SmartStart feature is enabled and I've had no problem with it up until a couple of days ago. I checked the settings and it is enabled.- I actually turned it off and back on again. I have not changed my mask or tubing and...

Re: Pillows versus Cushion, thoughts?

Got my Dreamwear FF mask two days ago, and had a bad experience - the machine said 10 AHIs. I want to have it for the times I get a cold or sinus infection. The My Air report said I had major leaking, but I did not feel any leaking out of the sides of the mask. Weird. I took a nap yesterday, fell as...

Re: Pillows versus Cushion, thoughts?

Hi Muse-inc.

Your mask looks similar to the Dreamwear FF, except the tube comes out of the mask instead of the top of the headgear.

Sleep Tracker

Hi, I am on day 21. I definitely am sleeping better. I had been getting up four times a night to visit the bathroom, and a couple times a week not being able to go back to sleep for a couple of hours. Now I wake up once in the night, and in 21 days, only couldn't get back to sleep one time. My AHIs ...

Re: Pillows versus Cushion, thoughts?

Thanks everybody for sharing your thoughts. Chunky Frog, I am not putting the pillows themselves in my nose. There is a cone part in the middle that goes in the nose (not sure what they call that part). It is a tad too big so it needs to be carefully set inside the nostril and it collapses and block...

Pillows versus Cushion, thoughts?

Hi, I’m on day 18, have used Dreamwear pillows up until today. Got a sore on the inside middle part of my nose. Used neosporin an Lasinoh and it healed, but still feels sensitive on both sides. My nose is very small and the cone part of the pillow only fits if I wiggle it in (using small size). Need...

Re: 2nd night, heated hose tore

Thanks for the idea of wrapping the hose at the connection. CPAP.com replaced the hose. I'd ordered two from Amazon. While I was waiting, I tried the non-heated hose, which "seems" to be fine. So now I have three back up heated hoses! It's a ResMed Airsense 10 for Her. I need to put the info at the ...

2nd night, heated hose tore

So second night, around 4 am, it sounded like popcorn. Was popping above my mask. If i mived the hose a bi, it would stop for a bit. Gave up and took it off at about 6 am. Turnd out the heated hise tore where goes into the machine connector. Is this possibly due to my own mishandling, or defective h...

Re: Newly Diagnosed

So I called the insurance company, and they said if the machine I bought online was $1,000 or less, it would be covered. I asked if that as the all-in price including the mask and other accessories and the agent didn't know! Having still not even heard from the DME that I was referred to by my docto...

Re: Newly Diagnosed

I finally got the prescription. I am wondering if I can just order the machine from CPAP.com. I'm going to call my insurance company. I'll let everybody know how that goes.

Newly Diagnosed

Hello, I was diagnosed three weeks ago with Sleep Apnea (AHI 22). My husband has had a CPAP for 10 years now. When he was diagnosed, I did all the research and became his support person, so I was pretty up to speed and educated by this board. I have become a bit foggy since them (perhaps lack of sle...
