Mold Allergy
I am having a horrible time this summer with my Cpap as I have a mold allergy and right now the mold is extremely high in my area. My AHI is all over the place last night it was 2.2 but has been up to 6.1 in the last week. I can't seem to get it settled down. I don't seem to have a stuffy nose (well...

Re: Night 1 - Please Help
I had the worst time learning to deal with it at all. I hate to say that it took me a few months but I kept pulling it off and not putting it back on. Finally I found that 1 little melatonin and my ipod did the trick (audio books). I still use my ipod because then I don't concentrate on the breathin...

Re: Congestion Common?
I have a horrible time with congestion so i feel for you. I tried everything, turned down the humidity (which did help a little), nasal spray's galore, antihistamines, you name it, I've tried it. The only thing that helped was to switch to a full face mask. I did not want to go that route but once I...

Re: how can I lower my AHI?
This is very interesting information. I was unaware that the "wake" time would register any differently (or that breathing was really any different wake or sleep) I have been having trouble with my ahi again in the last few weeks but I have had horrible insomnia. Though I am still getting over bronc...

Re: Another Cold question
I have it set to 3 right now. I do a saline wash at night before bed. I'll have to turn it down and see what happens!
Thanks!
Thanks!

Another Cold question
I have had a cold now for a couple of weeks, I swear I can't kick it. I have noticed that as my nose is more plugged and/or I'm coughing a lot my ahi goes up. This makes sense but does anyone have any suggestions for handling this? Do you raise the pressure? or just deal? My ahi has gone up from a 1...

ResScan Version 3.7
Has anyone used the ResMed software on Windows 7 yet? I just want to see if it's worth buying or to wait for an update.

Re: POLL: CPAP with a cold/sore throat
I voted yes becaue I have had both of these issues since starting cpap. I have never had as many colds in my life in such a short time as I have had with cpap. I hope it doesn't continue. I had to switch to a full face though during my colds.

Re: How Long
some very good suggestions. I appreciate all of your help. I saw the SleepWeaver somewhere (I can't remember) and I was always curious about it. As for the humidifier, I had it set relatively low and was having trouble so the Dr suggested that I turn it up. Did that and for a day or two it was good,...

How Long
How long did it take you to get used to cpap? I am in month 3 and I am still having a horrible time. I am lucky if I get 4 hours a night with the mask on. I have gone through what seems like a million masks and can't find one that works! The best "feeling" is the pillows, but my nose is always stuff...
