Re: How does a RT know when to raise your pressure

So if my 90% auto cpap pressure is at 15 cm H2O for most nights and my max pressure is at 15 cm H2O you would raise the pressure to 17 cm H2O

Re: why is 90% auto cpap at max pressure

The 90% pressure number must then be used to adjust pressure or verify that the max pressure setting is correct. What is the purpose of this information. On a 23 day period my 90% auto cpap pressure was at 15 cm H2O which is the same as my max pressure for 14 day. Just looking for an explanation fro...

Re: Bi-PAP battery question - why is this cable SO expensive?

OK I seen DC to AC rated to 90%, but this at a certain load, if you read the fine print the efficiency will be dependent on the load. I have seen DC to DC converters 90% at 1 AMP load but 75% at say 100ma, so when you select a convertor make sure it is efficient at the current load that your CPAP wi...

Re: Bi-PAP battery question - why is this cable SO expensive?

Yes thanks 12 VDC is not 24 VDC that has been true for some time now. I would not invert a battery DC voltage to an AC voltage to solve the problem, the efficiency to convert AC to DC is not very good. If the cable converts 12 VDC to 24 VDC , which can be done with 90% efficiency. Anyway depending o...

Re: encore pro version 1.8

So she should be able to print the report for me if I try to be nice. The only other problem is that they only have a black and grey printer not color, which is wrong since I have four, and they cost next to nothing, any ideas how to get this report in color, and you think she saved a copy, or does ...

Re: why is 90% auto cpap at max pressure

I know I am really digging deep on this 90% stuff, but if my 90% number is at my max pressure, then how can the other 10% be higher.

Re: What does 90% Auto CPAP MEAN

OK that helps a lot, although my 90% value was the same as my max value, which does not make sense since it could not go higher for the 10% value, so this means that the pressure was trying to go higher but could not, Respironic by the way cannot answer this question.

Re: A question about battery or alternate power source?

The cheapest solution I found was to buy a SEARS Car battery jump starting battey it come all enclosed clean, and the 18 AMP HOUR Battery last a few nights, on my REMSTAR SERIES M, the only problem is that it takes a few days to recharge, but is it all encloesed safer than using a mirine battery, an...
