Re: Reminder about corelation of OSA/CA & depression
I believe current thinking (for what that is worth) is that the normal course of events in untreated depression is recurring episodes, and trending ever worse over time. However, that "current thinking" is based on studies of populations of patients who had very high prevalence of undiagnosed SDB. ...

Re: More Newbie Questions
Pugsy, Thank you very much for the reply. That is exactly what I wanted to know. So you have the same machine and mask, and are averaging 31, or at least that night did. I was beginning to think the data was wrong for my mask as I never hit below 35 and average 40. Your average "straight line" is a...

Re: first week and some side effects
Hi there, and welcome! New habits always takes some time getting used to. As mentioned, your body is in in really high gear when suffering from apnea - the lack of oxygen causes muscle tension, which in turn ...

Various newbie questions - help/tips appreciated
Hi there! I'm fairly new to the CPAP / apnea "scene", but very dedicated as I've realized the potential of CPAP treatment. Still not completely friends with my setup, and thus not sleeping properly yet (~1 month into treatment). I've run into a few obstacles using the system, and I hope someone here...
