Re: Devilbiss IntelliPAP or wich one as Travel Machine?

It was a tough decision between S9 and IntelliPAP - but we decided for the IntelliPAP with humidifer and without SmartLink.

Thanks to all who helped with their opinions,

Fabian

Re: Devilbiss IntelliPAP or wich one as Travel Machine?

Cpap.com doesn't charge for shipping when you spend over $99.00. Most Companies don't charge for shipping when you buy a new unit. He is in Germany.... international shipping costs! But still with 75 USD/150 USD shipping and 19% VAT it will be a lot cheaper than in Germany - the AutoAdjust is at 20...

Re: Devilbiss IntelliPAP or wich one as Travel Machine?

After having discussed with my father we decided that the Data from the AutoAdjust-device might not be bad - because the normal homescreenings only check if the actual pressure is high enough - not if it could be lower too. Unfortunately cpap.com delivers with UPS - so the shipping is double the cos...

Re: Devilbiss IntelliPAP or wich one as Travel Machine?

I don't really know wheter the AutoAdjust-feature would bring me any benefits or not. I don't think that I need the data, because I'm doing a homescreening every 6 months. The machine won't be used that much, because it's only intented for travel (the M-Series was used 102 sessions in a bit more tha...

Devilbiss IntelliPAP or wich one as Travel Machine?

Hello, we (my father and me) bought a REMstar M-Series Plus in 2008, wich was intended for use when sleeping outwards. Shortly afterwards we ordered the corresponding humidifier, because we found out that my father needs it every night - and I need it when sleeping in places with air-condition or lo...

Re: Do you use a battery backup device?

very good idea. Now anyone know how to turn off that darn blue light? Covering it with tape, painting it black with a marker or the most drastical to remote it from the device. @TO: What you could try, if the APC remembers the silence-setting or if it has to be set everytime the alarm starts. In th...

Re: Reducing REMstar M-Series heated humidifier?

Hello, first, thank you for your answers Wulfman: I meant the Setting 1 - the lowest heated setting. timbalionguy: I tried with the hose wrapped in a blanket, but it didn't help much. BleepingBeauty: That looks interesting - I'll check if I can get such a reptile heating here. My problem is that the...

Reducing REMstar M-Series heated humidifier?

Hello, I have a M-Series with the M-Series heated humidifier wich I use when traveling. Looking in german forums, rainout does'nt seem to be a real problem. It occours rarely (sleeping with open window in winter) and normally is caused by a too high humidifier setting - so to fix it its enough to lo...
