Re: my air app question
That silly "Events per hour" number is not important is it?. I can still get a 95+ no matter how bad it is! So it must not mean anything right

Re: FOR SALE New ResMed Airsense10 AutoSet For Her $525 + shipping
The for Her AutoSet is gray with some leaves on it. It has 3 modes of operation fixed cpap mode and regular auto adjusting mode like the Black AutoSet plus a different auto adjusting mode using a different auto algorithm 3 machines in one. You may not need or want the different/new mode but it is th...

Still available? I am interested. PM sent.
What is the difference in the regular Autoset, and the "For Her" version other than it's prettier?

Re: Respironics SD card in Resmed machine?
Thanks RDFLY and Pugsy! I went to upgrade Sleepyhead and found OSCAR. Downloaded and installed. Currently migrating 23k+ files from Sleepyhead to Oscar. Going to take a minnute :) Will then try one of the old cards and see what happens. Cant wait to try the new machine tonight. Been using the others...

Respironics SD card in Resmed machine?
Been a while since Ive been here. I just received my new Airsense 10 autoset I ordered from a website. I didnt want to keep using my 2 PRS1's and didnt want to wait for replacement. My sleep test is 10+ years ago and didnt want to go through finding new sleep Dr, new sleep study, and new prescriptio...

Re: New to CPAP
You will probably need a FFM Full Face mask and PadACheek liner. I have a beard and use a Mirage Quattro. My pressure is 18-20 and it works. You have to tighten a little more than normal with a beard or goatee. I have had both. Full beard right now. But not too tight that is is uncomfortable or leav...

Re: New to cpap and acid reflux ?
That is different from what many others experience, myself included. I had acid reflux at least 3-4 days a week prior to Cpap. Never knew it had anything to do with Apnea. Starting immediately on Cpap it went down to maybe 2-3 times a year. I know others with similar stories. Perhaps your case was a...

Re: difference between Apex XT Auto and Resmed S9 Autoset
Actually the S9 Autoset For Her is on the host site for $439 with humidifier included right now. The Apex XT Auto with humidifier added would be $485. Even without the humidifier, the Apex at $385 is only about $55 lower than the S9. Another great choice is the PR System One Auto for $399 but no hum...

Re: Anyone ever wake up in the night incredibly frustrated?
both of you, head over to padacheek.com +1 The pad-a-cheek liner helps me with those very small leaks around eyes. Big difference in comfort and small leaks. My leaks were caused by skin oils and sweat about 3-4 hours into sleep. I also wash my face every night and wipe or wash mask. The liner absor...

Re: full face masks air leaks
As Pugsy mentioned above, this was the issue for me when I started with a FFM. It would keep a seal for 3-4 hours after washing my face before bed. Then the oils generated from washing would cause leak issues. I was able to eliminate it with a Pad A Cheek liner. The liner absorbs the oils and keeps ...

Re: Remstar Trial Mode - Thoughts?
I have 2 model 560's. My first one which is a few years older does not have 30-day Auto trial mode. But my more recent one purchased shortly before they stopped making them does have it. It works quite well. I had already completed my own titration with previous 560 and Sleepyhead. In about 2 weeks ...

Re: FFM fit experts?
I second the Quattro but with a Pad A Cheek liner. Far different than Remzzzz. They are more comfortable, and don't fall off when you remove the mask. I could not use the Quattro without the PadACheek liner. I get at least 3 months out of one so I don't mind paying the extra money. Still cheaper tha...

Re: High Pressure Mask
I use the Mirage Quattro and my pressure range is 18-20. No leak problems. I use the Pad-A-Cheek mask liners. Mask fit is firm but loose enough to easily get a finger under to scratch my nose. Is it possible you sleep on your back? It is much harder to control leaks on back so I always sleep on my s...

Re: Head Gear Question
If your actual mask works I would try to make the current one work, and improve the headgear. Easier to improve headgear than totally switch to another mask.Try strap pads by Pad-A-Cheek to cushion current straps or replace with Softcap Headgear if it fits your mask. I use both a soft cap and strap ...
