Upgrade to S9 with heated hose

Good morning. I recently upgraded to a Resmed S9 autopap. Sleep is going well with the exception of waking up in the middle of the night with plugged sinuses. Dr gave me rx for flonase but that doesn't seem to help. When I got new machine the tech set the heat at 80 degrees. Wanted to see if adjusti...

Swift FX water build up

Hello.
How do I get the moisture content under control. Use S8 with Swift FX. Humidifier control is on 2. Wake up every morning with a lot of condensation in pillows.
Thanks

Lost medical insurance

Hello.
I have lost my job and along with it I have no insurance. Where or how do you get inexpensive replacement equipment. ie filters, mask parts. I went to my current supplier and they are outrageous for cash and carry.

Thanks

Re: High Leak numbers

Took everything apart and cleaned. Found nothing cracked or worn. Leak numbers are below .10 with ahi at 3.0 to 5.

High Leak numbers

Hello. It's been awhile since I have been on here but all of the sudden I am having abnormally high leak numbers. The past 5 nites it has been averaging .50 to as high as 1.24L/s. I haven't changed anything on my mask or pillow. Is there anything I should try. My mask fit is excellent and I don't re...

Funny question. (drool)

Does this problem exist for anyone else. I notice it more when I sleep on my side. Thought it's kind of a funny question.

Re: Something new happening

I will check the pillows when I get home and make sure they are correct. My pressure is a 9. Also I don't have the software to download data so I just look at results via the clinical menu. When looking for events what do I look at. There are a lot of different stuff on that menu. Thanks for the hel...

Something new happening

Good morning. The past few nights I have woke up struggling to breath. I pull the mask away from my face and air is flowing out of the mask. It feels like it is just hard to move air. Weird.

Re: Weekly numbers

Will try to snug up the chin strap a little. Not much else to do.
Will track nightly on the leaks and see what it looks like.

I do wish I had the software. I am going in tomorrow so going
to ask if they have anything there on know where I could get it.

Re: Weekly numbers

Have been feeling good. I believe only one time this past week I woke up droggy with cotton mouth so I knew that I opened my mouth a lot during the night. As far as fine tuning the mask I am not sure what else to do. Using nasal pillows with chin strap doesn't leave much room to tweek at all. Pressu...

Re: Taking mask off at night...

I went back to my old mask last night. Resperonics optilife nasal pillow. It does have a chin strap. Actually last night was one of the best nights I have slept in awhile. I kept the mask on all night. Most of the time I wake up with dry mouth and occasional sore throat which tells me I am mouth bre...
