Re: Night One down and I have some questions
I am SO happy for you, DottyG!!! I've read some of your other posts, so I know what a struggle it's been for you even getting to this point. I'm a newbie too. I haven't started xPAP therapy yet (I'm ordering the equipment today!). I hope that I have similar pleasant results right from the start. Des...

Comparison Charts: CPAP Machines & Software
Hello, I am in the process of deciding which regular CPAP machine (capable of full data reporting) and software I would prefer. I'd like to decide before meeting with my sleep doctor in a few days, so I need to wrap this up by tomorrow. (I'm going to ask him if he will prescribe an auto CPAP, but du...

Re: Sandman Info CPAP -- LCD Info and Software
Thank you all SO much for your assistance! There is a lot of information here to digest, and my mind isn't at its clearest right now -- brain fog. I'll try to make sense of it all within the next few days, before I meet with my sleep doctor on Wednesday. I still haven't decided which machine and sof...

Sandman Info CPAP -- LCD Info and Software
Hello all, I am about to purchase my first CPAP machine. I definitely want one that has full data capability. I may be limited to a CPAP (vs. Auto CPAP) due to insurance constraints. In an earlier post, I asked for information so I could compare machine LCD information and software for the Respironi...

Re: Keep Mask Used At Titration Study?
What? People got coffeee? breakfast? a mask? Wow, I went to the wrong place! All I got was directions to the exit! Yes, and someone got a newspaper too! Don't feel bad, I didn't come home with a mask and didn't get breakfast, coffee or a newspaper either. I did leave with a slight headache and a dr...

Re: Keep Mask Used At Titration Study?
Thanks to all for sharing your experiences. It looks like there's no set way this is handled at each sleep center. I'm hoping for a dreamy night's sleep at my first titration study tonight!

Re: Keep Mask Used At Titration Study?
I was allowed to keep my Resmed Quattro, It was used I'm guessing once or maybe just fitted and then sterilized. I've been using it ever since. I was also given a new Quattro by the DME which I'm holding as a spare. Got a full breakfast & morning paper too Wow, you certainly lucked out all the way ...

Re: Keep Mask Used At Titration Study?
The mask used on me at my titration was a cheapo, scaled-down, one-time-use mask that the tech let me keep. Since it was a full face, and I was going to use a nasal mask, I kept the cheapo as my backup mask for a while in case I needed it during a cold or something. Later, I got a REAL full-face ma...

Re: Keep Mask Used At Titration Study?
While masks are disinfected and re-used where I had my sleep study, I have read a post here where the mask was given to the person. Some posted they got b'fast or at least coffee the next morning; I got zip...of course I was on cloud from the first restful sleep I'd had in nearly a decade so coffee...
