I think that the new setting does help. I get a chance to "rest" before the bipap starts blowing air. The setting may be too low because when I complete the exhale i did not inhale on purpose to see if the machine would start blowing air. It does not start until a take a very small inhale. My doctor had me change my epap setting from 8 to 6. When i was finished exhaling the bipap would start blowing air before i was ready to inhale.
