Re: Resmed for Her for a male?
Yes, it’s perfectly fine. The for her model simply has an additional treatment algorithm - getting the “for her” gets you everything in the original model plus that algorithm.

Re: ResMed AirSense 11 - A sneak peak
Oh, dear, that IS a negative! That is a major drawback to my AirMini when I travel, I mean USED to travel  ! (I've hacked the hose so I can stick use my Bleep and that has significantly minimized noise.) But otherwise it looks really cool! I wonder about noise, since they acutally address nois...

The second link at behance.net is a student's design project. I'm 95% sure it's not real / from Resmed.chunkyfrog wrote: ↑Tue Mar 23, 2021 8:48 pmOnly controllable from a cellphone through MyAir?

I'm not sure I see a USB port - if you're referring to the rear view, to the right of the "no MR" sticker, that's the power port I believe.

Re: Sleepyhead Software
Hi there!
Sleepyhead has been deprecated; it’s now called OSCAR and is available here: https://www.sleepfiles.com/OSCAR/
Same software base, now maintained and enhanced by different people.
Good luck!

Re: Endoscopy with Sleep Apnea
Just make sure they know you have been diagnosed with cpap - as Pugsy said they will monitor your pulse-ox. I’ve had several and was not a problem.

Re: Resmed Airsense 10- EXTRA Large Water Tank
Here’s my DIY post from years ago on extending the tank - this is still working great for me. Only thing I added is a velcro strap around the Rubbermaid tank as occasionally the pressure would open the latches on it. (i have high pressure - 15-18) http://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic/t173690/DIY-larger...

Re: SleepTech API
Hello Stephen and welcome! Your suggestion is admirable - you should definitely check out the OSCAR software project (thread at the top of the forum) - this is the culmination of many individuals work to collect and present data from a number of CPAP/APAP machines. You can probably plug into that. G...

Re: Distilled Water
Distilled water isn’t required - if you use potable tap water it will be fine, but you will likely need to clean your humidifier tub as the minerals may settle out. That said I do try to always use distilled. There are distillers but I suspect not portable. If it’s short term just use safe potable w...

My GP has also been fine with prescribing “cpap mask - patient preference” knowing that I use it religiously.

Difficult to find distilled water?
Anyone else finding it harder to buy distilled water? Have never really had a problem previously - but am low and tried grocery stores, Walmarts, CVS, and Walgreens - all cleared out. I'm in Northeast US (CT). Not sure if it's Covid related or what... Considering purchasing a distiller (doesn't real...

Re: CPAP Water?
Grocery store / pharmacy distilled water is all you need.
If you have good tap water that may be ok, but distilled water removes the minerals that will build up, and require frequent cleaning.
I only use distilled, and only (very) occasionally clean my tank.
