FWIW, that number does appear to be residential (no pun intended for those that also search) to Newport Beach, CA.
I would be interested, but without an auction setting to let the market bid up I would imagine the seller will be asking/expecting too much.

Re: Resmed Quattro FX Video Review
Hmm, I've been meaning to call LinCare to get one of these for my wife - do DMEs have these in stock yet if Sleep Nation won't have them for a few more weeks?

Re: Ages?
Diagnosed at 38, but now that I know the symptoms of OSA I believe that I have had it at least since college (I recently remembered being woken up by the fireguard at Ft Lewis asking if I was okay because I was gasping, which annoyed me to be awake more than anything at the time). Diagnosis was prob...

Re: weight and apnea... what came first the chicken or the egg?
I am 100% certain that I had SA when I was a skinny guy of 145-150# (12+ years ago) and my PCP never checked likely because I was so skinny and fit. I got my diagnosis when I weighed around 190# (Oct 2009 IIRC) and still have it now that I am around 158#. My weight gain was because I had poor eating...

Re: Can LOSING weight aggravate apnea?
I have lost 30#, since April 2010, bringing me to 5'9" and ~158#. I've only been on xPAP for a year or so, but my pressures have gone *UP* as I have lost weight. My sleep study titrated me to something very low (for me) like 6, but I typically stuck around 8-9 on my Elite II and S8 Autoset. I got my...

Re: Big Weight Loss
As far as cpap pressure, I've seen no change in what pressure I need. Me either, I am 5'9" and 159# now, but was creeping up to 190-200# when I started on xPAP. If anything my 95% pressures may be up slightly now, but I blame that mostly on new FF mask leaks and my sudden inability to keep my mouth...

Re: Big Weight Loss
I have lost 30# since April. I didn't make any giant changes and am a little surprised how well it has been working for me: 1. Eat breakfast - Eat Lunch - Eat Dinner I had gotten to the point where I was eating one meal a day (dinner) and thus eating too much. Not sure WHY I did not eat breakfast ot...

Re: Reactions of other less informed c-pap users.
I have not met a single apnean in real life that gave two hoots about their machine or their treatment; they all have placed all their eggs in the baskets of their prescribing doctor and DME and none of them have a fully data capable machine. Weird and scary.

Re: Resmed S9 auto Bi-Pap
Thanks. Even though my wife has a VPAP Auto 25, she still looks longingly at my S9 APAP. Weird thing is that she did perfectly fine on a trial on my APAP with EPR 2 (and then 1) and I have since changed her pressure support to 2. Her AHI was sub 1 the entire time and continues to be son on the new s...

I am getting a problem quite often that may be on the server side. Sometimes if I preview a post that I am writing **someone else's text including what they quoted is in there** instead of any of my text. I may even see their sig. Next time it happens I will capture a screen shot. Isn't happening at...

Re: Resmed™ S9 Climateline hose durability
There will be no recall, you would just return the product back to the provider and we would swap it out using the manufacturer warranty. Proactively or only upon failure? If the replacements are already available is there a way for end users or better yet DME fulfillment) to tell if they have the ...

Re: Is anyone trying to lose weight?
I have lost 12# since April 9 and have around 17# more to my goal weight (160#/5'9"). My scale tweets my weight every time I get on it and seems to have helped me stay on task somewhat. In HS, college and Army I weighed 142# and while it would be cool for nostalgia's sake it was really too darn skin...

Re: Resmed™ S9 Climateline hose durability
But did you buy from the DME initially? If so have you contacted Resmed to see if this is OK with them and to see if they may take it directly? Sadly, no. I bought it from cpapauction.com, it was advertised as an Autoset II (it was an Elite II) and it arrived missing the power cord and unable to tr...
