Re: nasal dryness from swift LT
All I can add is that I was advised to never (!) use anything that had petroleum in it because petroleum will cause the nasal pillows/etc to disintegrate!

Re: Information, PLEASE
Called my DME provider this afternoon. HMMMMPF!!! I was told that nothing could be done. I asked if it would do any good for me to call Medicare. I was told NO that they would not approve any of the machines with a smart card. Also, that I would have to wait another 4 & 1/2 years for another machine...

Information, PLEASE
I have a SleepEasy with heated humidifier CPAP machine. Have had it since September. Since reading so much on this forum, I have come to the conclusion that I was given the most basic machine there is. It gives me NO info except how long I have it on each night. Since I am on Medicare with a supplim...

Re: Had a Good Night! Used Swift LT Mask for her
Congratulations!! I hope it continues to work well for you! I have had the Swift LT for Her since the end of September. Tried another & didn't like the thing on my forehead. The Swift seems to work well for me also! I just wish I could get to the point of having more energy. The doctor says that it ...

Re: Tips for using Nasal Pillows needed
I use the Swift LT for Her & I found that if I put a cream (I use Anti-Itch Hydrocortisone CREAM) around the whole nasal outside area it helps to seal. Be sure what ever you use has NO petroleum as this will disintegrate the pillows. My biggest problem is after removeing mask in the morning, I have ...

Re: Newbie would like to hear success stories, please.
I am a real "newbie"!! I have had my CPAP for 6 weeks. I am 73 and truly want to feel better. I don't mind the machine at all~but don't really notice that I feel better. I don't get up for BR breaks as often ~down to about 0 to 1 time a night. But, I am discouraged that I am not feeling better durin...

Re: Suggestions for my next mask?
I don't think people are switching just to be switching. I think there is probably a reason they want to TRY something different. I use the Swift LT for Her & I like it fairly well, but have a problem with the straps slipping & then have air leaks. If I tighten the straps I end up with a sore nose &...

Re: Sleep Weaver --- CLOTH!! Mask????
I have only been on my CPAP for 1 month. Have a Swift HT for Her. Works well sometimes! I srill have not noticed a change in how I feel. I have tried a full face, could not handle~~tried the one that only covers the nose & it made the bridge of my nose sore & if I loosened it I had leaks. If anyone ...

Re: What do you do with your mask in the morning?
I take the humidifier & empty & take apart & rinse with really warm water & let air dry. Then I take the nose part off the mask & wash it & let it air dry. Hang hose to let condensation air dry & wash them about once a week.
