Re: Hoping for Sleepyhead Advice/Recommendations for CPAP
My biggest problem is simply getting to sleep. I often go to sleep at 1 or 2 in the morning and get up at 6 or 6:30. I usually take an Ambien each night to help me sleep, but I still struggle to get to sleep. I also take allergy medicine (drops, which are like getting shots) and Vrapimil for migrain...

Hoping for Sleepyhead Advice/Recommendations for CPAP
This is my first time using Sleepyhead and I believe I set everything up correctly. I feel exhausted every day and never feel rested. Everything in the software looks like I am doing well. The only real problem I can see is that I don't get enough sleep. I usually wear my mask the entire time I slee...

Giving CPAP another try. Does not seem to work. How to set?
I was first diagnosed with CPAP about 3 years ago. I received a CPAP machine, went through about 4 different masks and never felt better or different. My CPAP machine is: REMstar Pro M (IIRC) I decided to go a different sleep doctor as I was not happy with the first one or her office (unprofessional...

Re: Which full face mask to use? Mouthpiece from dentist?
I cannot thank you enough for helping me out. I worked with a guy that felt a difference in a day or two and after 3 or so months, it is better, but not by much. I figured my leak rate would be awful as I used to take my other mask off all the time. I hope all of this makes a difference. Thanks agai...

Re: Which full face mask to use? Mouthpiece from dentist?
Thanks. I am new to all of this, so I am learning. My doctor gave me my 2nd mask for free after the first did not work. I will be calling them about changing masks again this week. I was looking through my paperwork and I may have instructions for my machine. I will look for those settings you menti...

Re: Which full face mask to use? Mouthpiece from dentist?
I just noticed your apap is set to 4-12cms. Most people can't breathe with such a low pressure. Did you have a sleep study? Do you have a copy of the results? What was your titrated pressure? I'd also suggest you register, fill in your equipment info on User Control Panel, Profile, Edit Equipment. ...

Thanks for letting me know about the insurance. I did not know about it and was worried about buying a mask that I would be stuck with.

Which full face mask to use? Mouthpiece from dentist?
I have been using CPAP for a couple of months now and do not feel much better. I know it is working, because I have slept without my mask and have felt much worse the next day than I normally do. I have two questions that I am hoping the experts here can help me with. 1. I think my problem is that I...
