I had the same issues you are having. Thing leaked constantly. The length of the tube connecting the simple cushion to the mask was simply too long (on my face) to provide adequate pressure to keep the seal. So, I added an extra strap, still no luck. Finally, went back to may ultramirage II. Total w...

if your teeth are drying out, it could cause a toothache. I had my teeth whitened at the dentist and it ended up being extremely painful (due to teeth drying out according to the dentist).

Last time I was at the Dr. he have me something called Astelin. This is a nasal spray that has the same effect as Afrin (and the like) without the dependency issues. Active ingredient is azelastine hydrochloride.

M series auto cflex vs regular REMstar Auto C-flex

Looking at cpap.com I can tell any difference between the two (M series auto cflex vs regular REMstar Auto C-flex) on the comparison chart except the weight. Anyone have experience with these that could tell me why I would want one over the other? I'm due to get a new machine and trying to decide wh...

for me, the design of the CL2 didn't put enough pressure on the simple cushion against my face to keep it from leaking (without adding another strap). CL2 held nasal pillows well. Did not try the direct seal, but if I had to do it again, would order the pillows and direct seal.

I currently use an ultra mirage mask. Wanted to buy the ultra mirage II mask (same thing with a couple enhancements), but wasn't sure what size my old mask is. Tried the sizing guide on CPAP.com. It said the ultra mirage was not a good fit for my face and suggested other masks! I know from experienc...

I have slotted nares and the nasal pillows don't work that well for me. I use the ultramirage II nasal interface that goes around the nose. I'm a side sleeper and I switch from side-to-side without leaks.

I can't say I've noticed any shifting, but I have wondered if the constant pressure from the nasal interface on my upper lift would move my teeth. When you think about it, it really isn't all that different than the pressure a retainer or braces would put on your teeth (is it?)

I'm guessing she means Ultra Mirage. See link in my sig/profile. I'm a side sleeper (alternate sides during the night). I've had very good luck with the comfort and performance of this mask.

cpap.com rocks

Ordered a new mask yesterday at about 1 pm est. I live in Ohio (believe cpap.com ships from Texas). Had my mask this morning at 11 am. I did pay for overnight with Saturday delivery, but still... that is darn impressive.

Comfortlite 2 for Sale

Noticed there seems to be lots of interest for people with people in the group looking for a deal on one of these. I tried mine for 3 nights and just can't get comfortable with it, so I'm going to sell it. So, it has been very lightly used. I don't have any health problems other than the apnea to wo...
