I don't know what airline you use but when I fly with Jet Blue they let me take the CPAP machine and a carry on. Plus the first checked bag is free.

It is not only in Canada but here in NY they put an article about it.

maybe you should use the full face mask. Maybe you are losing air through your mouth when you use tha nasal mask. I am not an expert but not only might you be losing therapy with leaks but it also makes your mouth dry. Have you tried to sleep a few days with the full faced mask?

I am far froming being an expert but if he is snoring like you stated maybe he needs to try a full face masks. Sounds to me he is losing the air when he snores so the benifits go right out his mouth. Has he tried to wear a full face mask?
