Re: Looking to understand data and charts
BleepingBeauty - So, just to confirm...since i don't think my machine has any data about my mask, I actually need to subtract roughly 25 to 36 from the data in my charts to account for the intentional flow rate to get my actual leak numbers?

Re: septoplasty and turbinate surgery
Hi Folx, Have been reading through the multiple years of info in this thread. Saw an ENT today and he feels I need septoplasty and possibly turbinate surgery. Need to figure out how to determine when someone really needs turbinate though the septoplasty is obvious. My septum blocks almost the entire...

Re: Data recording machines--which is best?
I rent the machine so I don't how the cost of buying, but so far I really like the Fisher & Paykel SleepStyle 254 Auto CPAP Machine with Built In Heated Humidifier. I got a copy of the software from another user here (struggled to get it completely working so I would suggest asking for an original C...

Re: Looking to understand data and charts
elg5cats - I am impressed with the software and the data it provides. This should be standard (or at least offered free of charge) for every cpap machine. Without this data, I would honestly have no idea how I am doing (like, when I take off my mask - which I do almost every night) and how bad the l...

Re: Looking to understand data and charts
Thanks for the suggestion John. Yes, I have much less apnea on my side than on my back but almost always find myself on my back in the end (even when I used to sleep on my stomach). Thinking about options to help keep me on my side for the night.

Re: Looking to understand data and charts
Hawthorne, Thanks as well and a big thanks out to the the two folx here at the forum that got me connected with the F&P software. It sure does make a huge difference in being able to understand what is going on when you are asleep. This seems like it should be a requirement (easy access to seeing yo...

Re: Looking to understand data and charts
Bleeping Beauty, thanks for the quick reply and feedback. I really do appreciate it. Unfortunately, my natural circadian rhythm is a late night one. I usually get to bed between midnight and 1AM and up between 8-9AM. That's huge improvement over the past both in actual time in bed and when I am able...

Looking to understand data and charts
I know it is early in the life of my cpap usage (9 days) but I was fortunate enough to get a copy of the analyizer software and want to fully understand what I am looking at and trying to achieve. I've provided some of the overview data / charts and the info for some of the specific days (one's wher...

Re: Keep waking up in middle of night (3-5AM)
Okay, so, after posting here that I could not make it through the night with the mask on, I went to bed a little later than usual (1AM) but and this is a huge but, the mask was still on at 7:30 AM when I woke up for good. Several times during the night I did indeed wake but managed to keep the mask ...

Re: Keep waking up in middle of night (3-5AM)
Thanks for the quick replies. I am definitely going to stick with it for at least a month to see how it goes, but am certainly hoping (and expecting) that I'll be able to make it through the night without waking up. I did at the sleep study center but really need want to just lock the mask in place ...

Keep waking up in middle of night (3-5AM)
[Update below in a follow-up message...] Hi everyone, I'm a newbie. I just started using a SleepStyle200 HC254 and ResMed Quattro mask last week. I have mild to moderate sleep apnea and it's been set at 6 to 11. I used to start sleeping on my stomach every night but then almost always awakened to fi...
