Question About the Flexifit 432 FF Mask - Leak?
I got it today (in my quest for the best mask) and I must say it feels nicely on the face. However when I put it "om my resmed" the "non-rebreathing valve" creates a hiss beyond normal (I Guess), both holes release a lot air, unbearable, sound wise. When I close the holes with my fingers, its sort o...

Re: 4th Night S8 Autoset II
No, not tried EPR off.
Min pressure was 12.
95th Percentile Pressure was 14.6. (Median 12.2, Max 17.0)
BTW What is the significance of this 95th pressure thing?

Well, If you don't hear from me after tomorrow, they are probably scraping my lungs from the ceiling.
Actually I felt a bit of a coward not listening in the first place

4th Night S8 Autoset II
Resmed Graph: http://www.tsjeep.net/oximed/oxi-resmed-8-9-okt-2009.png No chinstrap this time, so leaks are minimal. Min pressure was at 12. "Something" happened at around 3:45, a lot of apneas I guess, and I woke up. Took of the mask, switched off the machine and went to sleep. Woke again at around...

Re: Third Night S8 Autoset II
because it is possible for a Resmed to get zeroes for leaks... your leaks are too high. Even if you wear a chinstrap?? And I has simple mind. If leaks are below red line, can do chinstrap. If many over redline, chinstrap must go, machine cannot put up with leakage. Am I too simple? The above is wit...

Re: Third Night S8 Autoset II
This means keep it at this pressure ? There are high leaks because I wear the mask over a chinstrap. I wore the mask without, and leaks were minimal. See: http://www.tsjeep.net/oximed/oxi-resmed-5-6-okt-2009.png I guess little leaks as possible is the best, but do you think the leaks of last night a...

Third Night S8 Autoset II
My third night on the hose. (Woke up early at 4 ) I raised the minimum pressure to 11 and max of course still is 20. My pulse oximeter report has a first time nothing below 88%: http://www.tsjeep.net/oxi/oxi-rep-okt-8.png But its not a straight line yet The Resmed Report still shows a lot of Apnea's...

Re: set up help
Ah Asia.... Very helpful people, but when I finally found a distributor in Indonesia, they just wanted 4 times (!) as much as the rest of the world, excluding tax. Oh. arrival in 2 or 3 months time. If you have a terrible apnea, these values 4 and 12 seem a bit low to me. I had it at set at 7-20 and...

Re: Combined Oxi and Resmed Graphs inHere
Yes, night 6-7 show more leaks as the night before, probably because I also used a chinstrap. (And the mask came of for some reason too) No doubt that without the chinstrap leaks will be on the same level as the night before. But afaik they are below the "red line", so its still within tolerance, is...

CHF, OMG, noooo.. never had that.
Ok, will raise the minimum pressure slowly over time, and see where the AI goes.
Thanks guys (and gals)
Why do the days look so long now?

Re: Combined Oxi and Resmed Graphs inHere
Doesn't the pressure range show in the graphs? about 5-18 in the 5-6 okt one and 10-20 in the 6-7 okt one.elg5cats wrote: What did your pressures range last night? You might want to read some of the posts on Central Apneas too!!!!
