If you took the weight off the vent, and put a hose on the port, ran the hose through an ice water bath and into a container to collect the water, you'd get ...

Re: Irish anyone? Where do you get your distilled water?

When you boil the water if you collect and condense the vapour you get distilled water. So yes - just boiling increases particle density of water - makes it worse for our cause

Re: New user on Auto CPAP with C flex (M series)

So the 5.6 blower hrs means the whole time the machine has been running since day 1, not just one night, yes? I should know this but I'm having one of those"senior moments". Yes, you're right, Dori. The blower hours are the total number of hours that the machine has run, from the beginning. Therapy...

Re: Irish anyone? Where do you get your distilled water?

Yes I saw such water as to be used for irons and batteries (top up) but none of them says distilled or for medical use so I am concerned! I still didn't get any Irish posting here about it - there are a lot of apnea patients in Ireland and many of them use CPAPs so was wondering why we didn't see th...

Irish anyone? Where do you get your distilled water?

OK here's the list of places I have been to so far in search for distilled water 1. Tesco 2. Dunnes 3. Local Pharmacy stores 4. Halfords 5. Boots and none had distilled water. When I was travelling in the US all supermarkets had it in gallon containers, like Publix and Walmart... In Tesco and Halfor...

Re: New user on Auto CPAP with C flex (M series)

First of all guys - all of you there - thanks a bunch for all the pointers. Much appreciated really. My (sad) saga continues. I almost didn't sleep at all in last few nights - just impossible for me to get adjusted to the - mask - noise. When I was suffering from sleep apnea at least I didn't notice...

Re: New user on Auto CPAP with C flex (M series)

You most certainly did Hawthorne thanks a bunch! My prescription said I needed "auto" between 4 and 20 pressure scales and I had a confirmation email from cpap.com that they set it like that. I must get into the setup mode tonight and see if it is indeed set to auto or not. Tonight will be my third ...
