Re: Breathing Issues
Wow... that's fantastic. Thanks for that. I too feel great at the Gym doing Cardio. It's difficult for me in the mornings and in the evenings as well. I'll certainly look into finding a good one. I have a sister who is on all kinds of inhalers. I don't want to go down the same path. I very much appr...

Re: Breathing Issues
I never would have thought of the cold air having an impact... but I can definitely see how it could now. I'm going to make a return trip to my local clinic here, see if I can clear a few things up. I have a new machine on order as it stands now, the PRS1 from respironics. I'll try firing on the hum...

Re: Breathing Issues
It's not uncommon for your lungs, or really the muscles around them to be sore for a while when starting Cpap - they've been out of use for a long time. However, that's only part of your problem and while I know you'll get lots of feedback on it here, it's hard to advise without knowing more, i.e. ...

Breathing Issues
Anybody else experience any breathing issues. I've recently developed a difficulty breathing. Mainly it feels as though I can't get a lung full of air... it's as if I'm restricted for doing so. It's a little un-nerving. I'm going back to the doc tomorrow. The last time I went he blamed it on the CPA...

Re: Which machine would you go buy?
Great information. Thanks guys. Very much appreciated. Can anyone speak to the importance or effect of a specific algorithim when using cpap or apap machines?
And anyone else care to weigh in? This is all very helpful.

Re: Which machine would you go buy?
Will do fadedgirl. Thanks a lot. I've been tossed into flux. I'm beginning to lean towards the PR1 side now.
I'm easily lead... if you couldn't already tell.

Re: Which machine would you go buy?
Using a Respironics M-Series with C-flex right now... it seems to be going well. Are algorithims that critical to the process? I'm relatively new... well I am new, and therefore slightly clueless. It only makes sense that they would be I guess. I want the option to be able to track myself and see ho...

Re: Which machine would you go buy?
Machine is brand new. never been used. It was purchased as a backup... He's really lowered the price for me, which is amazing. I will be sure to scope it out before I pay the money. But, all in all it seems like a great deal. The Respironics is a zero hour machine. will cost 508 Canadian by the time...

Re: Which machine would you go buy?
In Newfoundland, not as many options out here.
Thanks for the info. The Autoset II is from a classified. But the gentleman is pretty honest, I think we know some of the same people. Small place this rock. I'm more than likely going that way... just want to make sure I'm doing the right thing.
