Face mask vs pillow
Severe ulcer from the mask in spite of daily soap, alcohol and hydrogen peroxide cleaning. Had to have it burned off with LN2. Almost two years now and still not totally healed. Pillow is infinitely better so far.

Two surgeries:Laser reduction of uvula and deviated septum
Both of these were horrific. Very painful swallowing for a month with the uvula. The deviated septum was worse. Pulling the plugs was really nasty. I now have 24/7 mucous secretions. Enough to cause burning in esophagus and stomach irritation. Anti-histamines useless. Anyone had this problem? Cat sc...

Programmability of Remstar Plus
My Remstar Plus was programmed by the local vendor. The person providing instructions said the only way to change settings was by doctor's orders. I received no literature with the unit. Is this thing programmable?

Thanks for the responses folks. I have noticed that my wake up, wander the house, try to do something useful episodes are diminishing. CPAP and now really good news that I need throat and nasal surgeries.
I think maybe someone did some rotten things, using my name, and this is payback time!

Sleep study results:Severe obstructive sleep apnea. Three weeks now on cpap. Iamb working through all of the problems I see on this forum. Up to 6 hours now.
