Hi all,
Been some time since I was here. Gave myself a forum rest.
My last lap top crashed and it had the ReScan download software on it. This new one has Windows 8. Can anyone help me find the latest Resmed software to download for it.
Thanks again,
Jock

An sms I recieved from a friend earlier today:
Disgraceful! Here we are playing against the worst team in the world and we can only manage a draw. I'm ashamed to be Algerian!

Of Mile High Members, Zero Leaks And Other Urban Legends
It’s almost two years since I started therapy. Since then I’ve managed to get my AHI down to <5 from 96 - most nights anyway, thanks to all the good advice from the kind folk of cpaptalk.com. Just as the medical doctor’s mantra of first do no harm seems to elude sleep medicine in general, the cpap m...

Re: Ridiculous quotes and deeds by doctors and DMEs
Because of the cognitive problems I have, the neurologist thought he should send me to an old friend of his - a retired GP who now does sleep studies, to see if he could assess me. I went along for the, "assessment", and took the previous week's oximetry charts and cpap reports with me. The 82 year ...

Every time I go to sleep, I get sleep apnea. I tried not going to sleep once, but the pink elephants that kept floating past after 3 days blew me away man, so I went to sleep and got sleep apnea, so I tried not going to sleep but......

Re: OSA Associated With Verbal Memory Deficits
Hi guys, I haven't been on the forum for a while - bit of work pressure made worse by the memory problem. This is a major issue with sleep apnea. As some of you may remember from a few months ago, I 've been going through some challenges of my own in this respect. My cardiologist - yes - another rec...

Re: The Aussie thread
Hmmmm..... Interesting concept the Aussie thread. Glasgow 1971, my brother and I tossed a coin and ended up in Durban - heads would have been Sidney. Been here 39 years now. Seeing as half my former friends and colleagues are now with you, I almost feel at home - except that I'm a Sharks supporter -...

Re: The Damage Being Done To Our Brains
Thanks guys. I used to exercise every day but stopped when my first wife passed away. I need to get back into my regimen. I've also bought some brain training exercise software
By the way, I got the book online at BooksOnBoard for <5$
