Re: Flying with CPAP my experience
Anyway did i recklessly endanger the passengers lives on this plane by bringing this battery or was this staff member completely wrong - I am really curious! The battery in your picture is a lead-acid battery, same type that's in cars. It contains a pretty nasty acid. Typically 35% Sulfuric acid to...

I must be unusual then... I can easily gag myself just brushing my teeth, especially when I'm brushing my tongue.NightMonkey wrote: You likely need to go an inch to and inch and a half beyond the uvula to stimulate the gagging effect.

Re: Question for those of you who have to pay a Co-Pay.
I have a PPO and I had to pay my 30% copay on the rental of the machine itself, which luckily is over now. Any supplies however, I have to pay for out-of-pocket until my yearly deductible of $2000 is met So I pretty much just buy all my supplies by myself, since I can get much better rates online th...

Looks like a spammer to me. The link in his signature goes to a site selling cpap supplies.OutaSync wrote:What is happening that is making your wife annoyed?

Re: S9 Hose Issues Survery PLEASE VOTE!
Don't have an S9 so I can't comment on that, but I wish the S8 hose came out the back. Since I route it up and over the headboard anyway, it would put less stress on it if it came out the back.

28 teeth here. 1 wisdom tooth never developed and the other three never emerged or impacted, but were surgically removed when I was 32.

Re: H202, Hydrogen Peroxide as a anti-bacterial agent
PS I am going on a cruise next week and doubt that I will have a fridge to keep the distilled water cold. Most staterooms on ships have a small fridge in them, they stock them with water and pop and that kind of stuff you have to pay out the nose for. Just ask them to remove them all and put your w...

Q: Do you have a gun in your home?
A: I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I may incriminate myself.
That outta get 'em thinking!

Well then I guess you better call up the surgeon general and ask... since apparently nothing else is going to satisfy you, since it's all just a consipiracy.

Re: Mask Need a Script?
The FDA requires a script to purchase a mask. Is that true, or is that another rumor like "it's illegal to adjust your own CPAP machine?" I'm almost 100% certain that the last mask I bought had "RX REQUIRED" written in big letters on the insert in the bag. On edit: here http://i12.photobucket.com/a...

Re: Newbie in tears
As for the cold, I assume you mean the air in the mask is cold. If you're using the humidifier listed in your profile, I suggest turning the heat setting up a bit. You could also heat the distilled water in the microwave a bit before you fill the chamber at night. I have a feeling I know the cold t...

Re: No posts exist inside this topic for the selected time frame
Ooops, I just tried that, and the "show posts from previous" selection doesn't show up when there's no posts. You'll have to go to your control panel (at the top of the page, look for "User Control Panel"). Then go to the "board preferences" tab. Finally select "Edit Display Options" from the left s...

Re: No posts exist inside this topic for the selected time frame
When you get that error, scroll down to the bottom of the page, it should have a "Display posts from previous:" selection there. Change it to "All time". It's probably that you have the setting for, say 1 month, and all the posts your search is finding are outside of that time range. So if you incre...
