their are only 2 dme's in town. other dme does not have respironics cpap's. so if they are partnered with my doctor i wonder how much she makes on the deal. when i origianlly got my cpap i only had to pay 290.00 for cpap and mask. so i think i did good on that deal because they made a deal with my i...

i just ordered a new mask through my dme (pulmonary soulutions). mask headgear $65.00. mask paykel forma large $410.00. ff cushion and foam $105.00. total $580.00. through insurance i am on an 80 percent and 20 percent. so my total is 96.01. i can get the mask by myself for $120.00. why do provider ...

it takes about 7-10 minutes before my humidifier heats up on the highest setting, that is when i notice that the cpap air is getting warmer. i typically use setting 1 or 2 while sleeping

i use a air purifier with a hepa filter, as white noise. a fan could also work. It is also good if you have noisy neighbors to drown out noise. Everyone has had problems with getting used to there cpaps noise, pressure, leaks etc... hang in there your cpap will help you get better sleep.

i know it will take some time but i have been tired for awhile. my sleep study indicated that i had AHI=9. with cpap therapy is has dropped to AHI=2. so that is encouraging.

i just have the smart card. i have tried samples of sleep meds like ambien and lunesta which i got a better nights sleep but i felt tired during the day. lunesta has a medicine aftertast that last me for a day. i am hoping a pressure change helps.

i am a new cpap user. only have had mine for 1 month. Went back to the doctor to download info and checkup. She told me everything looks good. Only changed cpap from auto to constant 10 cm pressure. Before cpap i would be lucky to get 4 hours of sleep. Now i average about 6 hours. i am still feeling...
