Re: What type of pillow do you use?
Hi Hazel
I use two hard pillows but they do not seem to feel hard to me anymore..
I sleep on my right side, but I use a Swift LT for her and I do not seem to get any leaks unless I spend the night playing with it
Hope you will enjoy your time here on the forum

Re: Question? About seeing your sleep doctor
Thank you all for your replies to my question, I really appreciate it.. I guess for now I will not worry about it.. I have no insurance so don't have to worry about them requiring me to see doc. As this is a borrowed machine,I looked and it has no data card. I will probably eventually buy a machine ...

Question? About seeing your sleep doctor
After you finally start using your Cpap machine etc, how often should you be seeing the doctor to go over your toleration of the Cpap, checking to see if the machine's settings need to be changed etc?
Or do you just have to call yourself and make an appointment?
Thank you

Re: How old were you when you got diagnosed?
I was diagnosed 10 years ago at the age of 52, though I am sure I had sleep apnea for at least 10-15 years before it was discovered.

The machines come from the factory with a 2 meter hose in the box. You should not have to pay a dime for your first one. hi jdm The machine I will be using is a loan from a friend, it came with some tubing but I was thinking it might be healthier if I just buy a new hose instead of using the one he...
