Re: Those that wear Hybrids and have Higher pressure?

I think we have a winner with the Hybrid, I have not slept this well in about 15 years. This is the kind of sleep I was hoping out of my therapy, now just for the software to get here, any day now

Re: Those that wear Hybrids and have Higher pressure?

Surly it can't be that easy!?!?! I took the Hybrid outa the box tried the set up the way it came swapped it for a small cushion and large pillows, went into the bathroom and got everything adjusted, set my APAP at 14/14 to test that I won't have any blowouts at full pressure, I only had one small le...

Re: Those that wear Hybrids and have Higher pressure?

I just switched this week to the Mirage Quattro mask. My pressure is 17 and I struggled after my pressure was adjusted from 13 up to 17. This mask is working well so far. I agree with the comment about not adjusting close to bedtime and at full pressure. My wife help do the final adjustments for me...

Re: Those that wear Hybrids and have Higher pressure?

Pugsy, I ended up getting the Hybrid overnighted to me as I can't hack another night, my nose is a mess!! I also nabbed a Liberty off of the auction site and will give that a go, I had already had the Resmed sizing guide printed out and am well within the small mouth cushion on that one. I can't wai...

Re: Fisher-Paykel Forma vs. HC432 Full Face Masks

The CPAP.com sizing guide says my HC432 size is small and that my Forma size is large. Does this make sense? Does anyone have experience sizing these masks? Thanks, John I got a different result, It states the 432 in small and the Forma in X-Large! I don't see how, something has to be messed up, li...

Re: Those that wear Hybrids and have Higher pressure?

...... My DME told me that nasal pillows will blow out all the time for any pressure over 12, ........ The human brain is such that it likes to get a simple rule fixed, whether right or wrong, and then operate from there. I have used the Hybrid at 19 cm. I did use the ladies' tights fix on the nasa...

Re: Those that wear Hybrids and have Higher pressure?

I am not there yet, but suspect that my pressure will end up around 14. My auto is currently set to titrate up to 16, which for a while, it was doing frequently. I find the hybrid mask is pretty stable, and the stability depends a lot on how clean I keep it. I occasionally will have a nasal pillow ...

Those that wear Hybrids and have Higher pressure?

I need feedback from those that wear Hybrid type masks with a pressure of 14 and above, do you have problems with the pillows blowing out? I am having alot of problems accomidating my wide nose bridge, I wear a small mask, but need more room width wise for the bridge of my nose, and I don't see bein...

Re: Need help from the ladies!!

I have a related question, actually, even if my face isn't dry. During the winter my hands get so dry they crack and bleed. I try to up the water but it doesn't seem to help a whole lot. I've tried a few lotions, but can anyone recommend one that's super effective? When I worked (nursing home) I wa...

Re: Need help from the ladies!!

I know there are several Cetaphils, Katiemo. Which one do you use for your Rosacea? The Metronidazole lotion hasn't done anything that I can see, which is why I've gotten so lax about using it. It sure would be nice to find something that did! I use the one in the tub, it seems to work sooo much be...

Re: Need help from the ladies!!

I do know my previous night time mosturizer is too greasy Cetaphil in the tub, but my normal daytime soaks right up, Olay for Sensitive skin. The CerVa sounds interesting, is it greasy at all? I use Cetaphil cream (the one in the big tub) on my face before putting on my FFM & haven't had any troubl...

Re: Need help from the ladies!!

I have mentioned before that I moisturize with coconut oil. Yep, plain old coconut oil, right out of the jar. I can't imagine anything that would be greasier than that. It doesn't seem to cause a problem with my FFM seal at all. I clean my face, then while it is still wet, apply a very thin layer o...

I am not sure why the nipple grease works lol...I do know they tend to put silicone in ladies facial moisturizers and this makes them skin slick.
