I recommend a machine with Cflex, and a heated humidifier is a must.
Others can chime on mask favorites.

Good luck!

It only took 3 nights before I got my first 7 hour snoozer. On my first try at home though I only got 3 hours. Visiting this forum and hearing others talk about their problems helped me relax and realize that I was not in this alone. Also, thinking about the positive effects that cpap therapy would ...

NoSlak, I have the REMSTAR Pro-2 as well, great machine. I noticed that you did not mention if you where also getting the heated humidifier. You'll need that because if not that cold air will dry you out and cause you a serious sore throat. Thats my experience anyway.

Good luck!

This machine has data record features with optional software and card reader. So far so good, C-flex definitely works and makes exhaling easier (at ...

I've been on CPAP for only 8 days now. A few nights ago I fell asleep without turning on the humidifier and I woke up with a terrible sore throat. If you get a humidifier make sure its the heated type (not passive type). The only reason I knew to get one was that my sleep tech. gave me the heads up....

If your purchasing your CPAP out of pocket go to cpap.com and save over DME supplier. Your need your dr. prescription to order though.Don't do what I did and lease/rent from DME at 3x time cost online. All the info about using your cpap can be found here and cpap.com. FYI - I'm using a Remstar Pro2 ...
