you doubt that OSA is a disability?
For all those who doubt that OSA is a disabling condition: I hope that you or your loved ones are NOT in the car that gets crushed by the truck driven by some sleep-deprived driver who has been denied SSDI and is forced to work to pay for his health care because his health insurance has been cancell...

oxygen level
During my sleep study, my oxygen level dropped to 55% without the bipap. However, when I used the bipap, my oxygen level rose to 92%, making supplemental O2 unnecessary. Problem is, I do not tolerate the bipap for long at night so my g.p. prescribed oxygen for when I'm sleeping without the bipap. I ...

I have known that I have obstructive sleep apnea for many, many years, but...

disability question
I began a disability claim recently and have my first meeting with SS next week. Everyone tells me my condition "should" qualify me, but I have my doubts. Keep me informed if you find out anything interesting.

oxygen and bipap
I'm having problems tolerating my bipap (I tear the mask off my face soon after falling asleep). My doctor offered to put me on oxygen at night, but said the oxygen could not be used with the machine. My brother has used a cpap with oxygen so I'm confused about what the doc said. Anyone have any exp...
