Wow. A night of 0.0 AHI is like pitching a no-hitter in baseball! That's great. Now go for another night!

Re: Post your favorite mask
Is there a good FF mask for someone with nose bridge issues.... SU, it doesn't work for everyone, but I've had good experience with the Sleep Comfort Care Pad. I've been using with my Activa for months with great success. Eliminated the nasty nose bridge sore for me. https://www.cpap.com/productpag...

Good Experience at CPAP.com
Well, I've been pretty happy with my Activa LT over the past few months. I even tried a few days going back to APAP from 9.6-11.6 but then just switched back to CPAP 10.6. More restful sleep for me. Anyway, all of a sudden, last night, I couldn't get a seal on the mask. What to do. Panic panic. Well...

Re: Hubby Had Emergency Surgery!
Dori, I've been away awhile, and yes my prayers go out to Mike and you. And don't even look at the numbers from the hospital. And in fact, don't worry if the numbers don't go down for a bit even while home. You shoulda seen my numbers for the week after I dropped my kid off at college for the first ...

Re: anyone know of a quick fix?
I use a hosecover. But while I was waiting for it to come, I placed as much of the hose as I can under my blanket, which can act to insulate it just a bit. Give it a try. Its cheap, and it does work somewhat.

Re: nose sores - ugly subject
Yeah, I'm waiting for a Respironics FitLife total face mask to come in at my DME's office. I need to totally avoid my nose (15 days off CPAP it got so bad). There is also a Total Face Mask by Respironics- a one size fits all. The FitLife comes in small and large. Good luck. Mary Z. Mary, I experime...

Re: Full Face Fiasco
The cushion cuts across my upper lip. I have had to notch out the inner silicone so it doesn't cut the bottom of my nose while still resting on my upper lip. I guess I don't have enough space between my nose and my lip. If I tighten the bottom just enough for the cushion to make contact with my fac...

Re: Full Face Fiasco
I've tried many a full face mask and never found one that wouldn't stop leaking long enough for me to fall asleep. They just don't fit the contours of my face. The Activa LT hurts, but if I hold my head perfectly still it won't leak for as long as I don't move. If my head falls to the side, it pops...

Re: Keeping a log
From the software, at least in ResScan, there is a Notes Section. I jot down notes there as to how clear my nostrils are in the AM, what mask I was using, if I changed anything, how I felt, what I ate if unusual, etc. Over time is can be very helpful.

Re: APAP vs. CPAP mode
Agree. I was an APAPer until I experimented with CPAP, and have found a sweet spot. But I'm sure down the road, I'll try APAP again. Cos I'm a numbers geek and setting it and not tweaking is not fun.LinkC wrote: Bottom line: It's pretty much a personal choice. You can get adequate therapy with either.

Re: NYC A.W.A.K.E. meeting was absolutely amazing tonight!
I experienced a little discomfort the first night, but its easy to get used to and really opens up the nares. In practice, I haven't noticed much of a difference with it than without it. 1. So which is it Gary? 2. Do you think the Nozovent could be worn with nasal pillows without causing leaks? I t...

Re: ResMed S9 coming soon?
I'm in a position where I was just about to spring for the Resmed autoset II to replace my elite II. I'm having alot of trouble sleeping on my back, In fact I cannot sleep on my back at all because I need a higher pressure to do so. However my current pressure of 11 is perfect for side sleeping yei...
