There's really no need for sarcasm, Goofproof. My smart card is listed in the software drop box, so I thought that was the most fitting category.
I have changed it now. No software listed & the smart card listed in Additional Comments.

Leakage with Comfort Gel Nasal Mask
My first week's average leak rate is 29.2 liters per minute. I have no idea how to understand how much that is in air! Will someone please explain that to me, as well as, what is a normal range of liters? My AHI is an average of 0.4 - that's good, right? Would anything less than 5.0 be good? Thanks ...

Re: 4 nights on CPAP
Yes, I have the M Series. The machine is RemStar Pro with C-Flex ( one of the buttons has 'C-Flex' on it).
Reply to an earlier response: I am getting about 7 1/2 hours sleep & waking up usually once during the night.
Thanks again!

Re: 4 nights on CPAP
Yes, my machine is correct, except for the # 2. The drop down box didn't give an option without it. I asked my DME when he delivered the CPAP if I would be able to see what was going on each night. He said "no", but you'll send in your smart card about once a month, we'll analyze it & give you a rep...

4 nights on CPAP
The DME delivered my CPAP Saturday, so I've used it (4) nights. I haven't had any problems sleeping with it all night & only had leaks the first (2). My husband calls me the scuba diver & my daughter calls me elephant head! Question 1: This morning I fell asleep several times driving to work. I've h...

Post Equipment Info
A DME is delivering my CPAP, mask, etc. this Saturday. Will you please guide me to where I put the specs, so it will show up on all my posts?
Thanks for your help.

Teeth Grinding
I am curious about whether or not I grind my teeth while sleeping. My dentist thinks I might, but I don't think I do. I had tongue ulcers which could also be caused by dry mouth. I seem to remember one of the hookups during my sleep study was supposed to check for that. I have a 9 page report & I do...

Re: Comparing Masks
Thank you!
I have discovered that my computer at work must not have the software to display the pictures. It doesn't even show a mask above the "enlarge image". My computer at home does have all the pictures, so I'll have to use it.

Sleep Position
I love to sleep on my stomach. Is this going to be possible with the headgear? Is any one out there that is a stomach sleeper? If so, let me know what your experience is.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Thank you for your further replies.
So, once I am on CPAP, will I go into REM?

Re: Pre-CPAP Days
OK, guys! While I appreciate your humor, I'd like to get back to the subject. For example, is it normal with OSA not to go into REM sleep? How does 73 seconds compare to your longest apnea? Etc., etc.
Thanks for your replies.

Pre-CPAP Days
Hello Everyone! I have enjoyed browsing through the threads. There's a wealth of information there. My CPAP lingo is not very good, so please forgive me. My search for help was brought on by falling asleep while driving to work. I have had this problem off & on for at least 5 years. Other times my d...
