Welcome to the forum, nice to have you in our community. As to the tired feeling, I've been on CPAP therapy for close to two years now and when looking back, it took some time to make up for the deficit. While not an immediate overnight experience for me as some have described, I noticed almost imme...

Guess I replaced those pillows sooner than needed. Sometimes the seal wasn't as good and the DME showed that the insurance covered monthly pillows replacements. Perhaps they failed sooner as I'd needed some non-patroleum jelly based lubricant around the nares (not inside the nose) for comfort and im...

How frequent to purchase AEIOMed Headrest (Aura) cushions?
I'm getting ready to purchase my Headrest Nasal interface from AEIOmed on cpap.com. My local DME's don't carry it and suggested the internet too, oh well it's their loss. On my Mirage Swift, I'd replace the pillows once a month. Does the Headrest cussion, pillows or whatever you call them last much ...

Noticed the recommendation for the Mirage Swift. I've found it to be comfortable, but it's not silent and it also exhausts very well out the front right under the nose. When side sleeping and facing my spouse, they'd get a face full of air. Currently I'm looking at switching to the Aeiomed HeadRest ...

Rested Gal, Thank you very much, you provided the information that I desparately needed. Unfortunately my DME doesn't currently provide the Aeiomed's product line, but when checking with Aeiomed they are actively courting the provider. What this does mean is that I'll need to purchase online until s...

Need advice on new nasal pillows solution other than swift.
Hello, My spouse has finally voiced dissatisfaction with the Mirage Swift I use. Too noisy and the air blowing directly on the face if we sleep face-to-face. The only time it doesn't bother them is when spooned with me facing outwards. But then my back begins to hurt if I stay in this position too l...

It does seem that different nasal interfaces have different rainout limits. For example when using my Activa, I had to have a very low setting on the HH in order to not have the nasal rinse at night. My Swift on the other hand seems to not have a rainout problem at very high levels on the HH. Could ...

Anyone looked into this? http://www.roezit.com/ I was given a small 2cc blister pack from my DME. They don't carry it but seem to be recommending it. I'm only finding a few online places that carry the product, but I have a 1 oz tube on the way. I'll let you know how it works out, but I was wonderin...

I had a look at the enlarged pictures of the Swift in use. It looks like it might be a problem lying on the side where the hose is attached. Is this a non-issue, or if not, how did you solve it? Check out this thread: http://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic.php?t=5965 Even without the tips in the thread ...
