Re: Slight tingling burning sensation in my nose
I know this is an old thread, but I found it because I was having the burning and like a burning smell in my nose and was looking for answers. After reading this post and others, I decided to actually take a look at my unit. I don't use the humidifider, but somehow, it got turned on. I switched it o...

AEIOmed Headrest Large for Medium nasal pillow swap
Looking for anyone that might use the AEIOmed Headrest CPAP mask. I have 2 large nasal pillow pieces that I'd like to see if anyone would want to swap their medium nasal pillows for.

Re: Any experience with CPAP Pro "No Mask"??
I was looking at this mask and the curved bracket that holds the tubing looks pretty big. This does not hit the pillow when laying on your side? I've tried several nasal pillows and keep going back to using my Swift LT. Would like the get away from the straps going down the side of the face that kno...

When the Electricity Goes Out
We just had storms roll through lastnight and I was wondering what happens when the electricity goes out? Has anyone been hosed up and asleep when there has been a power loss? I've been on CPAP 2 months and no experience with it yet.

Thanks Slinky, I believe I am going to try this as my next mask. Will have to look for it on auction, maybe one will show up in my size there.

If you've used Simplicity and Swift
Well, I went in for my first month eval with the DME and had 100% compliance with AHI of 2.7 I use the Swift LT and really like the mask pretty much, but I have trouble with the mask leaking when I turn on my side. I bought an Aeomed Headrest mask and it did much better not leaking, but I don't like...

Phlegm sensation on soft palate
I constantly have a problem when I go to bed that I have phlegm on my soft palate that I just can't dislodge. I try clearing my throat, drinking water, I've tried gargling with salt water but nothing I try takes away that phlegm that I've tried. Anyone else have that feeling and what do you do to ge...

Swift LT Mask
Just got my stuff yesterday and slept better than I have in a long time. I got the Swift LT mask and I like it. The only thing that I seemed to have trouble with lastnight was the blue part of the mask that comes down closest to the mouth. That area seemed to be the most uncomfortable for me. Does a...

Re: bugs anybody?
I haven't yet received my xPAP, but is this a common thing putting the unit and hoses in sealable tubs to keep bugs out? I had planned on putting the unit on a small table next to the bed and draping the hose and mask over the headboard in the morning. Just wondering if I need to rethink this.
