Re: Mirage SoftGel is in the house!

I have an Activa LT and would like to try the softgel version, but I can't see that CPAP.com has the gel cushion for sale. They just seem to offer the silicone cushion and clip. Am I missing Something?

Re: Do you ever go a night without CPAP?

Since folks seem to want to tell you how to run your life instead of answering your question, I'll try. Been on CPAP over 3 months and have not gone a night without it, but have taken the mask off as early as 3:00 am (mostly due to mouth breathing) with no apparent ill effects. Go for it! With any l...

Re: Where Do You Place Your Machine?

On a stand at the foot of the bed with a 9' hose that follows the line of my body up to my pillow. The nasal mask outlet is pointed toward the foot of the bed so everything lies in the same plane and stays in place all night. No tangles or upsets.

CPAP Auctions--Legit??

I have been interested in a few items on CPAP auction in the last couple of months and have sent the sellers a question or two about the items. I all but one case they refused to answer the question. Is CPAP auction legit? I don't feel comfortable bidding on items from anonymous sellers who refuse t...

Re: Quattro users - how do you clean your mask?

Same as the UMFF I've been using for over 4 years. (Headgear didn't quite make it 4 yrs. but the seals are still fine) WHEN I get around to washing it (every few months), I use Dawn dishwashing liquid (HOT water for wash, HOT water for rinse and then soak it in COLD water for a bit) and never (inte...

Re: POLL: Typical AHI for ResMed Users

Why is this poll relevant? We all know that different machines register apneas differently. Never lose sight of the fact that the objective of this therapy is to make you sleep better and feel better! Those who chase low numbers without this objective in mind will probably fail. The numbers that you...

Re: Quattro users - how do you clean your mask?

I guess that mask hygiene is a personal thing, but I don't get too worked up over it. I wash the mask parts with a liquid non-scented soap 2-3 times a week and have no problems. After all, anything on the mask came from me.....not someone with a communicable disease. Think about it.

Re: Resmed software needed

As indicated above Rescan 3.7 is available through overseas and underground sources. I have a Resmed machine with Rescan software and am satisfied with the performance and features of the machine, but the software is dated, crudely programmed, archaic and unreliable. These shortcomings plus the fact...

Re: Hypopnea questions

This thread has been hijacked. The OP is concerned about Hypopnias, which is understandable given her diagnosis. Kaylis did not say who gave her the diagnosis, but I would encourage her to consult with her sleep specialist and do further research on this forum. As for IACEYOU, you hijacked this thre...

Re: ResMed Elite HELP

What exactly does the machine do when you plug it in?

What does the screen say?

What happens when you try to turn it on?

Re: Would a Private Boycot of ResMed be a Fair Tactic?

I have to disagree with some of the comments above. Although I am relatively new to this, I have been watching this forum and doing other research on my own. I do not think that the ResMed LCD info is adequate, although it is useful. With Rescan 3.7 I have discovered that the almost all of my AI's o...
