Thank you all for your replies. It helps to know that other people share this "complex" disorder. It gives me hope that I can adapt.

I am now using the Mirage Liberty full face mask with nasal pillows. It just seemed like the pressure was so forceful I couldn't get a breath.

I have never seen a doctor only a NP. There is only one sleep study doc at our clinic and I have yet to see him. Haven't had a follow-up since the sleep study in May 09.
