Re: Did Respironics Degrade the Comfort Gel Design?
I started using cpap in late 2006. I used the comfort select mask. After about 2 years I changed to the comfortgel. I am now on my 3rd one. All the inserts were blue. The first two inserts were identical and had to be replaced because the skin that holds the jelly had abraded, allowing the jelly to ...

Did Respironics Degrade the Comfort Gel Design?
Each year in early spring I have to replace my Comfort Gel nasal mask and head gear. In 2011 I noticed the new cushion was very obviously thinner i.e. less bulkier and therefore less compliant than the previous cushions. Winter Coming, Gel-Mask Flooding Out
Used the Comfort-Gel nasal mask for one year now. Whenever the room temperature drops below around 68F the gel-mask accumulates so much condensation that I wake up and have to disassemble the mask to blot up the moisture. This happens about every 2-3 hours. Not so good for sleep. Using ResMed Elite ...

Preventing Rainout in Nasal Mask
Using ResMed Elite II. Using Respironics Comfort Gel Nasal mask Humidifier set to 2.5. Room temp is 68F. Have to blot the moisture in mask every 3 hours. Hose okay because I made a "jacket" for it. Setting humidifier to 2.0 effectively turns it off - no rainout but wake up with swollen nasal passage...

Cannot Access My User Control Panel
When I try, I enter my UID and PW as requested. I receive a "Logged in" message, but after 3 seconds I am presented with another login screen. This cycles indefinitely.
Also, I cannot find a link to send a message or email to a forum administrator - does one exist?
What might be the problem?

Thank you for posting those instructions. You saved me a $50 visit to a cpap provider.
