I might think that the folks who back this forum might not be happy with us posting other places to find things they hawk.
I'm glad you did. I happily book-marked the page and will definitely buy my wipes from them when I run out! That's not a bad price.

Re: Permanent Mask Marks
Charlestek, I can well relate to your problem. I tried just about every FF mask around and finally settled on The Hybrid, as it offered the best fit and the most comfort. I immediately bought the little pads for the straps...but I still get marks on my face. I also wear the goggles to help protect d...

Re: Which full face mask do you prefer?
Demeter_Soul, which Hybrid are you using? Does it work well for either nose or mouth breathing? Is that the mask you have in your equipment list? If so, that's two good recommendations. I just received a new Quattro, but it may be worth it to pay for the hybrid out of pocket to try. Yes, Hephaestus...

Re: Which full face mask do you prefer?
I tried so many masks it isn't funny. First one I tried was a Quatro and had serious pressure point issues with that one. Moved on the the Comfortgel...then Forma...and a few others. Finally found the Hybrid and I was determined to make it work...and I did. With some tweaking. Then I wanted to find ...

Re: Flu Shots are out!
I'll be getting it. Got mine last year in November and it set off a flare-up with my psoriasis...but I still think it's worth taking. I have lung and heart disease, amongst other health issues, and I'm not taking chances. Came down with a virus in the beginning of June and got pneumonia and almost d...

Re: Mask Question
Hi, BCZF. My second mask was the one you are currently using, the Comfortgel, and it was terribly uncomfortable on me, actually pressing into my face over my lower gums and pushing my teeth in...and leaving the bridge of my nose ulcerated. The next mask I tried was the Forma mask and because it leak...

Re: Blood-shot eyes with Cpap?
Hello, Fossy. I suffered from pretty severe dry-eye syndrome prior to beginning BIPAP therapy...but after...it became a true, and very painful nightmare, for me. I finally found the Quartz and the Onyix eye mask and these have helped me greatly. I prefer the Quartz because it is clear...but the Onyi...

Re: Unsupportive Spouse
Resister, I'm sorry your feelings were so hurt and it's really sweet that what your husband thinks matters so much to you. However, I think it may be time to pull out, and put on, those big-girl pants and either joke back with your husband or sit down with him and talk about the situation -- how hur...

Re: CareCentrix had the AUDACITY to..........
Fireman, I well know your frustration. DME is Apria, insurance is Cigna...and CareCentrix is the third party... I not only get my Bipap supplies from Apria...but I am also on oxygen 24/7 and have monthly charges for my concentrator and home-fill system. I truly think they think I'm so oxygen-deprive...

Re: Dreaming!!
Yeppers, I knew I was going to be OK...when I started dreaming the first night I used my Bipap. The only time I dreamed, prior to that, was when I fell asleep sitting at the kitchen table, with my head hanging forward. Now, I dream too darned much! And I can get up and go to the bathroom...and fall ...

Re: Cpap mask wipes making me break out
Yes, the wipes I use are unscented and like I posted...I've even wiped my nose and chin with them. I don't do that often, but I did in a pinch when our air-conditioner wasn't working and I felt all mucky and my mask was sliding. I can't use coconut oil on my face, either. Or argan oil...or any kind ...

Re: Cpap mask wipes making me break out
Hi, SleepyHead! I wash my mask every morning, with Dawn's new vinegar alternative liquid detergent and water. I let it dry and at night I use a wipe on it because it always feels oily...to me. I also wipe my face with a Biore cleansing cloth...before I put on my mask. I have the MOST sensitive skin ...

Re: Eye Problems From Xpap?
I've suffered from dry eye syndrome for years...but things really got worse when I began BIPAP therapy...and it's even worse, now, because of central heating and a vent being right over the area where I sleep. My eye-saver: https://www.cpap.com/productpage/eyeeco-onyix-eye-shield-cpap-mask.html Thes...

I am sorry you are having such problems, Brandy. I can't really comment on what might be causing this to happen or help you in that area...but I did want to warn you about mixing Xanax and Melatonin/Valerian Root...or Kava together. Several years ago there was a special episode on one of the news ma...

Re: Trying comfort gel
This mask caused my bottom teeth to shift in just one week's time. After three weeks...I had to go to the dentist and have treatment for TMJ problems and had to have a retainer made. I won't even go into the bridge of the nose problems. When your teeth hurt like that, even if it's just for a short w...
