Re: PulseOx shopping
No. Maybe my rechargables need replaced, but I only get about 5 hours out of them. With my original CMS50 D+ I got 2 nights from a single charge. Not sure if this newer CMS50-BT just takes more energy or those old rechargeables need replaced. That's a cheaper fix than a new pulseox!!

PulseOx shopping
I've used a Contec CMS50-D+ or CMS 50-BT for ages, but I'm needing the data far more lately. The current 50-BT is only giving 1 full night of data, for a pair of AAA batteries, so I'm shopping for a rechargeable unit that OSCAR can read. I'm using it nightly and batteries in my small town are no giv...

Re: CPAP with generator
I carried a deep cycle, full size car battery with me for years while floating rivers and tent camping in the fall. I was a Respironics user until last Friday, mostly as it is a 12V machine. I could directly hook up to a cigarette lighter connection. Then a buddy got a Resmed, which is 24V. We just ...

Re: New Resmed Aircurve 10 Vauto
I'll try to upload some screenshots. It's been at least 10 years since I have and I forgot any of that procedure!! I'm now 3 nights into the new machine. I survived the issuance pressure settings that one night and have increased it back to something more familiar and have added the pulseox overnigh...

New Resmed Aircurve 10 Vauto
So I've used my new machine for just one night and before I go adjusting, I have a question or two. I've been on CPAP for 20 years. First at 8cm, then 13cm for the past 12 years. In late June my electrophysiologist wanted a new sleep study. I didn't really ask about his goal, but as I was diagnosed ...

At home BiPAP study
I just got home from a bi-pap study, where just like my other sleep studies, I forgot to sleep!! This was ordered by my electrophsyologist to see about getting my overnight 02 up from 88-90%, dipping to 82-84% 2-3 times a night for 5-6 minutes. I'm not finding much about at home bi-pap titration stu...

Contec CMS-50d-BT pulse Ox compatible with Oscar - Finally!!
I've recently been diagnosed with atrial fibrillation and am quite concerned with my blood oxygen. I've had a Contec CMS50D+ pulse ox, but it had corroded batteries and is gone! I thought I found another one, on ebay, but it came as a CMS50D-BT, that Oscar can't find or read the data for. For that m...

Re: Lost graphs on Oscar
Well, I give up. I've run my machine at the settings before all my adjustments, then set it to the Settings for the days it shorted me on graphs. Last night, I've got it to the new set of sttings I'd like to verify my blood ox level, and it gave me all the data!! I'm diving into tolerating my pulse ...

Re: Lost graphs on Oscar
Respirator 99 - On the days where I'm missing graphs, that list in the lower right corner just lists the graphs displayed,6, all with check marks. No unchecked choices appear. Pugsy - I set the Flex setting back to 2 and I got all my graphs today. I'll toggle it back to Flex 3 and see if that's the ...

Re: Lost graphs on Oscar
I've found one thing that changed on the same day. I increased the Flex level from 2 to 3, to help simulate bipap, which my heart doc thinks is the way to go. I'll put that back tonight, and report in the morning!!! The flex change seemed to not make a difference in my morning review of sleep qualit...

Lost graphs on Oscar
The last 4 days, my Oscar Daily view is not displaying all the graphs it used to!! I can't find where I bumped a different preference. I've lost Flow Rate, Tidal Volume,Resp. Rate, Minute Vent and Insp Time. Any clue?? I'm really trying to watch results as my electrophysiologist is leaning toward ch...

Respironics Flex & Bipap
I've just left an appointment with my electrophysiologist. He's leaning me toward bi-pap and has requested a new sleep study. I don't mind the study, if I actually sleep, as it's been 12 years since I had one. I've changed a few of the settings on my Phillips Dreamstation 2 a bit, by increasing the ...

Contec CMS 50D-BT HELP!!!
I had a cms50D+ for a few years, until I corroded a battery in it. I have a 50D-BT for a couple years now that I can't seem to record and download to a PC. I don't care if it matches to Oscar at this point, I just need someone to translate the Chinese English of the instruction manual!! Maybe walk m...

Re: Dreamstation 2 quits during night
Start thinking about how you will treat yourself to a Resmed--even a used one. Nobody deserves to be kicked around; and you are entitled to better. They started me on Respironics and I've stayed, a lot because they're 12V machines. ResMed is, or was, 24V, so you had to add an inverter. I camp betwe...

Re: Dreamstation 2 quits during night
Sorry I forgot to include. Auto Off is not engaged. No ramp. Constant pressure. It also displays a message of Service Required and the whole display screen flashes. Kind of alarming the first time. Now I don't even take off my sleep mask. I've got it so I just unplug it at the wall, so I don't have ...
