Fek,
if the doctor has a waiting list and there are multiple doctors in the area that have his specialty, that in my mind means good things

Re: Oral device
I haven't checked out that one specifically, but a lot of them and Boil and Chomp.
The more expensive ones have to be created from a dental mold.
go to their web site and give them a call
I always call to talk to a company online before i buy

Re: Recommend a good Philadelphia Tech?
Ugh... Im sorry for your bad experience. Tech's are similar to doctors, when you find one you like Hang on to them!! what i would suggest is possibly calling some local DME's and see if they will let you talk to the Tech on the phone, ask him/her some questions and see if you click with them. it may...

Re: cpap
It should most defiantly be compatible. Check your tubing and see if each end is a sort of rubber, those are the Universal tubings which will connect all Masks to CPAPS If your having doubt you can always check the diameter of the mask connection and compare it to the tubing connection and go from t...

Re: Newbie, OSA, full beard, mouth breather
APAP is a good choice, there is a wide variety of them on the market. What i would suggest, is that if you know what data your going to be looking for, see if you can acquire a print out from the different machines to see which data you find the most useful. Re: Rainout ?...Also, new DME, new Machine! :D
Not sure if this will help or not, but i know that if you are able to tuck the tubing under the blankets with you it will keep the tubing warm, thus reducing rainout. Fishey and Paykel also have the Heated tubing which some patients love more then the pressure reductions features on the Resmeds and ...

Re: Oral device
From what i have seen in some patients, is that the Oral Devices (like surgery) are hit and miss.
They work for some people but not for everyone.
I think if the price is low enough give it a shot, especially if your significant other starts to call you Darth LOL

Re: My apneas wake me up despite Bi-PAP
Hey Tonycog, When your new to CPAP or Bipap there can be a lot of uncomfortably regarding the pressure and mask etc... If i were you i would see if your doctor can get some data from your machine to determine what may be causing the inconsistent sleep. Complex Sleep Apena, could cause similar proble...
