Re: cpap use in Italy will extension cord work?
Thank you to those helped with the question of extension cords in Italy. I did get the universal cord that was mentioned, and with my apap being 110-240 volt I should be okay.

cpap use in Italy will extension cord work?
I will be in Italy at the end of the month and I know my apap will work on European current, but I plan on bringing an extension cord in case the wall socket is far from the bed. Would an extension cord from the US between the apap and the wall socket work?

Does Encore Basic work on Mac computers?
Does Encore Basic work on Mac computers? Does any Encore software work on the Mac? Does Sleepyhead work on the Mac? My brother wants to optimize his therapy and I am telling him about this site and trying to find what software will work with his PR System One IQ machine. I can't remember which forum...

Re: Craigslist M seris vs Remstar Pro
I am still using the Remstar M series auto apap that I purchased in 2009. The machine is a nice compact size. I use both filters, the grey one and the white one. They both seem to do a good job of filtering out particles. I have not had the opportunity to use the System One series yet. I do believe ...

Re: Need Pillow Recommendations
I use a full face mask and use one regular fairly flat pillow and a buckwheat hull pillow on top of the first pillow. This combination gives some height, and the buckwheat pillow is moldable. I can push the hulls around to accommodate my hose and bottom part of the mask.

Re: when to replace mask headgear
I should have been clearer. My mask headgear is over 2 years old, but it has been laundered before. I was thinking that maybe after 2 years of use the headgear just stretches out and the Velcro doesn't stick as well as it used to. How long do most people keep their mask headgear until they replace it?

when to replace mask headgear
I had started a topic about when to replace mask cushions and nasal cushions, and people let me know that I was probably overdue for replacements (since the cushions were over a year old).4 I would say my mask headgear is over two years old. It seems like the Velcro isn't sticking as well now. Would...

Re: is this a sign that I should get new mask cushions?
I am the person who started this thread. I have gained a little weight since the VS numbers and mask leaks have increased. No, there isn't anyone else in the room when I sleep, so I can't get feedback. After reading the replies I think maybe I do need to get new mask cushions and nasal pillows. Than...

is this a sign that I should get new mask cushions?
My vibratory snore numbers and leak rate have gone up a lot since Christmas. Does this mean I need to buy new mask cushions and nasal cushions? I have a Respironics M series auto. My mask is a Mirage Liberty. I have not bought mask cushions or nasal pillows for over a year. I have been cleaning my m...

card reader auto Respironics not working?
I have the M series Respironics auto with A flex. I think it is three years old. Can the card reader stop working even though the machine still works? I use Encore Basic to download data. I know that sometimes the card reader or the card skips a night of data. This has happened to me occasionally. A...

electricity voltage in Canada same as in US?
I will be in BC Canada for two nights in August. I am ashamed to say I don't know if they use the same voltage that we do in the states. Do I need a converter? Or will I be okay plugging my Respironics M series auto into their wall socket? Will I have a problem with my extension cord also?
thanks

travel on train with cpap and humidifier?
I was thinking about taking a cross country train trip with my cpap and stated thinking about the rocking motion of the train and using either a stand alone humidifier or using an integrated humidifier on board. Would the rocking motion of the train cause the water to get up into the motor and/or wi...

does the inline bacteriafilter work on F&P humidifier
I have a Respironics series M apap machine and the F&P HC 100/150 stand alone humidifier with the 325 water chamber. I am interested in using the Inline plastic bacteria filter made by Respironics. On cpap dot com is says that if you have a humidifier you connect one end of the plastic filter chambe...
