I just stumbled upon this site as well. I was very excited about cpapauction and then it vaporized, Yahoo Auctions who allowed CPAP has vaporized.. Looks like this has popped up to fill the void.

[quote]I'm no expert on Respironics machines, but that pulsing like a machine gun doesn't sound normal to me. If your machine is the Auto, I don't think it will flip IPAP with EPAP when it sees a central event like a ST machine would do. The Auto Bipap would just log that Central as a NRAH event. If...

Snoredoog, Since you seem to have all the inside info on how the Respironics Autos work, can you explain to me the following event? I woke to the machine pulsing me like a machine gun with very high pressure bursts. I have OSA and CSA so I am curious if the machine's algorithm was simply trying to c...

[quote="rooster"] Thank you CheezWiz. I also have doubts about that assumption. I don't burp easily, which in my mind is an indication that LES is sealing the stomach from sending acid to the esophagus. All of the entrapped air is expelled through the rectum. When I lie on my back it seems as if non...

Re: False diagnosis
My question is, can someone be mis-diagnosed with sleep apnea? My theory is, the false diagnosis is, because I consistently swallow and the swallowing during the sleep study seems as an obstruction causing a misinterpretation. Can this happen? Considering the number of probes and monitors I had on ...

I have never had any symptoms of gerd. If your LES is healthy and sealing, you shouldn't have problems with aerophagia especially at your pressure. Hey don't take my word for it, google it up for yourself. I disagree with this assumption. I have been scoped every way possible. I have no erosion, I ...

If they did force them to pull it, then you can bet it will be on BitTorrent before long . All they are doing is punishing those who wish to be honest and creating software pirates.

People keep sending me the end-o-the-world scenarios about this legislation. No more OJ! No mor V8... No more BS I say. This legislation is good and it will not cause prices to skyrocket. I have read many reports on how many companies sell sub quality products and make a fortune on the ill informed....

This is the first mask I have used so I offer no comparisons.. Just observations.. Likes: I can pop-off the elbow and drink through a straw without removing the mask. The release mechanism works with very little effort once I finally read the instructions. (If you were standing up looking straight a...

Well, The Metamucil fix is still working for me. I take two equate gas relief gel caps and chase it with 8oz of water and a heaping teaspoon of fiber. So far so good, I continue to make it through most of the night without discomfort. I start getting air in the gut around 5 AM. Much better than befo...

I have 60 hours of Sounds From the Hearts of Space on my IPOD.
I set the sleep timer to 120 minutes at bed time. That music conks me out in no time. Has since I first heard it in the early 80's.
