Hi. I've been trying to get this all to work for 8 months now. Still so frustrated and sleepy most of the time. My biggest problem is rainout that wakes me up ever 1-2 hours just to clean the water out of my mask. I've been back to the DME people upteen times (2to 3 times per month), I've tried all ...

Re: Apointment tomorrow--please help me prepare
Thank you everyone for your support. After reading your messages I decided that what I really wanted to do was change doctor's and go to someone more supportive while I work through this process. I found a doctor closer to home that sounds great and will not foist me off on the DME person or a nurse...

Apointment tomorrow--please help me prepare
Hello. I'm a little afraid of being labeled a "whiner" but I'm going to try to dip my toe in the water here again. I'm on week five of cpap therapy and i'm exhausted and close to throwing in the towel. After a couple of weeks the suffocating feeling finally eased but then I developed a sore spots ar...

Round two. Saw the technician today and when I told him about waking up feeling as if I can't exhale he said he had never heard of that before. This has me doubting his knowledge since I've been reading through many of the posts here and have seen this is a common issue. He looked at the data from t...

Re: New Cpap user--waking up suffocating, help!
Well, I took off work this afternoon to go into the doctor's office and the dispensor person told me he had never heard of someone having trouble like I described. (!?!). I asked him about settings and he was not very forthcoming but said that my EPR setting was at 3 and the air pressure at 12. It's...

Re: Repost-New-Waking up suffocating
I have no idea what the settings are but i will ask and then repost. I think I'm going to call and try to get an apointment today to see them. I obviously need more information and I can't keep waking up at 2am and not getting any more sleep. I'm concerned that my technician seems a bit of a doofus ...

Repost-New-Waking up suffocating
Hi again. I think I've entered my equipment correctly. Please excuse. All of this is so new to me and a little more than my little brain can handle! (Spider monkey I'm reading through the various posts and I'm gathering I need to understand this all a lot more. They pretty much gave me a 10 minute r...
