Re: Feedback on first night OSCAR data
You might take a look at the new F & P Solo mask. It has an under the nose cushion version (reminds me of the N30) as well as a nasal pillow version. I tried the under the nose cushion version earlier this summer but the nasal pillow version is newer and I just heard about it. The Solo is silent lik...

Re: Changing the Pressure on Model 11 Unit
It's a bold face lie....pure and simple....The pressure is easily changed if you know how to get to the clinical set up menu and that's easy.

Re: Pressure change going from a Nasal cradle to pillow mask
I was wondering if the pillow type cushions direct the air so much more accurately, that a bit lower air pressure would provide an equivalent apnea relief as other types of cushions at a higher pressure. You do understand that OSA events relate to a collapse in the airway but not the airway in the ...

Re: DreamWisp Nasal CPAP Mask and Leaks
Can you tell me what is an ok score for the 95% leakage? 95% numbers just mean that for 95% of the night you were at OR BELOW that number. The "or below" part of the definition is real important. ResMed machines report excess leak only. ResMed has given us 24 L/min leak as the line in the sand wher...

Re: Pressure change going from a Nasal cradle to pillow mask
I wouldn't go reducing the pressure just because of the mask change any more than I would suggest increasing the pressure when going to a full face mask without evaluating all the parameters involved.

That's normal awake/arousal breathing. Nothing nutty about it since you weren't sound asleep.
Now what caused the arousal/awakening....million dollar question.

Re: Looking to buy headgear strap pads, but they’re too big
Check out the ones Padacheek has at her website. https://www.padacheek.com/airfit-f20-airtouch-f20 Karen makes some side strap covers especially for the F20....and if those won't work or you question things give Karen at Padacheek a call and pick her brain. She might make up something special for yo...

Free Respironics heated hose
Someone donated a bunch of masks and hoses. The masks I have found some homes for but I am having problems finding someone who wants the Respironics heated hoses. I need to check the product numbers and see which models they will work with ... If anyone wants one or two or three or all of them....se...

Re: First night with Resmed P30i mask
If those FLs are related to nasal congestion then adding EPR won't help but worth trying. Going to be either that or more baseline pressure is going to be needed but I don't know just how critical those FLs are. They are ugly for sure but I have seen worse and sometimes the cure is worse than the di...

Re: First night with Resmed P30i mask
Are you having any nasal congestion?
If not....try adding in EPR at 3 to your settings and see what happens with those FLs.
Please review this thread with examples of what to show on your reports that you share.

Re: Just started CPAP therapy, diagnosed years ago.
If it were me and the only leak I was getting was like yours from last night....I wouldn't mess with a chin strap. 1....we assume mouth breathing leak but it could also simply be mask movement issue. To know for sure you have to tape the mouth shut and have the tape stay stuck all night. 2....if the...

Re: Just started CPAP therapy, diagnosed years ago.
What is your primary sleeping position? On your back for the first part of the night maybe and on your side later or on your back all the time or on your side all the time??? Some people have a lot of nasal congestion and sometimes that nasal congestion shows up in the FL graph. Your FL graph is rea...
